Battery fresh off a charge makes my carts taste funny.

Is this normal? Carts taste burnt for like 15 mins and then all is good. Seems like the batts put out too much power right away. Is there anything I can do?

Yes, Fusion batts are regular KR8 batts, so they start at 4.2v output, then drop to 3.7-3.5 for most of their charge.

You need to upgrade to the MaxxFusion batts, which are regulated at 3.6v output throughout their charge.

AND you should definitly get MaxxFusion cartos, too. I can't believe you haven't tried them yet!

I don't know if the old fusion cartos are similar to the riv4l ones, probably. I never had a problem with a fresh VK & a riv4l carto. But I did have that burnt thing going with a fresh VK using a BMF carto. But BMF bat + BMF carto = no problems. Costs a little more, but it's worth it.

Yes, both Batt and carts are Maxx Fusion. I think it makes a difference if I charge via usb vs wall charger. Wall charger seems to make the batts put out more power.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I know my PCC doesn't fully charge my VK bats, sometimes have to 'top them off' on the USB. So I guess I could see how a wall charger might charge even fuller than a USB. Since I can't use the PCC for my Bloogs, I use the USB most of the time, and the wall/usb combo charger the rest of the time. But since that also involves a USB I wonder if they are doing basically the same thing.

I notice this sometimes, but only with an almost dead carto. Drip some more juice when changing batteries is what I've been doing, or if I have no juice of that flavor, just set that cart aside for the first 20 minutes or so...

Maybe the carts are dead. I refilled them a number of times and these two in particular were just fully refilled. Oh well they were good while they lasted.

By the way, I have been vaping Wow Vapor Caramel and its amazing. Just got Bloog Kamel carts in today and not bad so far.

Something I've noticed is that I'll be vaping a carto, the battery dies so I grab a new battery fresh off charging and the carto tastes 'burnt'. I take the cap off and realize that carto is nearly dry; I just didn't notice because I was vaping on the 'almost-dead' battery.

But it sounds like yours might be dead. I have cartos now that have been refilled at least 30 times that are going strong...

Sounds like you need to let them sit awhile longer after refilling. The liquid needs time to distribute. Or do a taryn spin.

I let it sit over night. I usually do a Taryn spin but maybe this time I didnt because I condom filled from battery end. I find it easier to clean them when I do from battery end.
