Some people have said it doesn't matter. During the day I only charge a battery when it is out of charge, and at night I charge everything I am not using - 3-4 batteries of 2 kinds and my PCC. I leave a PV set up overnight with another spare battery so I don't have to mess with screwing things together in the morning
.
BTW - To make charging take less space I use a Rosewill 4-port USB to AC adapter w/ 2 amps max (I got it at Newegg.com). With battery cables that have the skinny USB plugs I can fit 4 of them in it and charge 4 batteries at once. (each normal kind of e-cig battery usually needs 1/2 amp of the 2 amps so there is enough power to charge 4, or enough to run a PT and charge 2 at the same time).

BTW - If by 808 you mean KR808D-1... Some day, just for fun, try a standard (not LR) DSE901 atty and carts (carts or drip tip if you have a manual battery) on your KR8. It's a nice setup for trying new juices (easier than filling cartomizers) - sort of a softer airier vape than cartos but I like it. I got my 901 atty and carts at LiteCigUSA.net as well as my aluminum drip tip. No adapter needed to put a 901 atty on a KR8.

I have one ego batt that is working fine after 9 months of rotation. When my first Ego batt died, I ordered two spares, giving me three to use alternately. All three are just fine at this point and one is an original part of the Ego starter kit. You'll see early failures from time to time, but they are pretty dependable.

I charge mine generally when the battery led flashes. If I'm going out for a while, I'll swap batteries and put the used one on the charger. Your charger will stop charging when the battery voltage reaches 3.92vdc anyway and the charger will be cool to the touch in no time. I agree that overcharging is bad for Li-ion batteries, but that doesn't happen unless the charger malfunctions. I take them off as soon as the light turns green. Trickle charging (leaving them on the charger after the light turns green) is not recommended for Li-ion batteries.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I think my strategy is going to be to wait until they are drained before charging, but if on occasion I need to just keep it charged, I'm not gonna worry about it.

@dormouse Thanks for the tip. I am actually just getting to the point where I want to try refilling. I've been vaping for about a month with kr808 and greencig using prefilled cartos, and I just ordered the liquid lung sampler pack from nhaler. I will try the dse901 atty/cart, as my biggest concern is figuring out how to refill.

Anyways, thanks!
