battery help or advice

Hello,
I have a bit of a problem. I have been vaping a prodigy v3, which i love, but my battery charger has died for the lifepo rc123a batteries that I use.
Meanwhile my other device, the tekkeon, just bit the dust -- seems fixable, and the makers said they would fix it. BUT here is the problem

NO VAPABILITY-- yikes

I can't find the battery charger anywhere(i live in Seattle) -- can only find them on line, have ordered two, with overnight shipping -- alas --- they haven't shipped yet, so am looking at no vaping until tuesday (sunday today), and am starting to kind of freak out.

Is there another type, more common type of battery that I can use in the v3? or other ideas? i can't find any ecig stores that sell anything near me either to hold me over. shoot this sucks.

any ideas, and or help would be deeply appreciated! thanks

You can go to Walmart and in the camera section you can find 123a bats. They ain't cheap, and they ain't rechargeable, but they'll get you through.

Rather than possibly getting an unsafe battery.....What about a 7-11 or some type of place like that...most are selling disposable e-cigs lately ??

I've used the camera 123a in my Ali before without an issue. They are protected, but are not rechargable. They are also available at any camera store or even Batteries Plus.

thanks, i'll head down to wallgreens. I would buy a disposable, but can't find one. Seattle needs a full on "ecig" store. I checked about 6 stores for disposables so far.
@the rebel-- just a guestimate on how long those batteries will last? just so i know how many to buy to get me through? and thanks so much to you bothfor the help

Backups ... backups ... backups, never have enough backups.
A little eGo bat & charger tucked away if nothing else.
You can get a little 5v 510 pass through for around $10 bucks since it looks like you like higher voltages.

Good suggestion. When I was using cr123's, I went to Battery Junction and/or Lighthound and ordered a pack of 10 non-rechargeable cr123's as emergency backups because they have a 10 year shelf life. I used one set in my Prodigy and they lasted about 10 hours before they died. I use to keep some in my car just in case. You might also want to try Deal Extreme because they have free shipping although it takes about 2 weeks to get them. This advice, of course, is for future "back-up" needs.

and @tj99959, where do you find 5v 510 passthrough like that? i have learned my lesson. more back ups. just bought batteries at walgreens for roughtly 50 bucks. shoot. expensive. rather have back ups for my backups. and i will defiantly get some of those cr123's online for the future as @wv2win suggests. good plan

I think MadVapes carries pass-throughs. But you will also need to get a 5 volt/2amp USB to AC adapter (about $12) because you definitely don't want to plug it into your computer.

Deal Extreme is an excellent source for cheap batteries and chargers. I just bought some 14500s and a Trustfire TR-001 from this site for $13.00 and found a coupon code for another 10% off plus the free shipping. You can't beat the prices if you're not in a hurry. Although the shipping was about two weeks, I've had some stuff take a little longer before. YMMV.
