How long should I get out of my battery its a eleaf tc40w it just seems to run down quickly?

Depends on the wattage you vape at and such.
The higher the wattage the shorter vape time per charge.

Not very long, if so.

A genuinely interesting question.

I've two iStick 30w s and using a 1.8 coil and around 3.7 volts can get up to 3 days out of a battery. On the otherhand I have one iStick 40w TC which I set up the same way and don't use TC...and it lasts a day to a day and a half.

I puzzle over this too...

I don't have one, but my reading is the batteries in them don't last long in TC mode. I am not certain how to switch to straight VW mode on that machine, but I'm sure somebody who does know ill be along shortly. You're aware, right, you need a different coil for VW mode?

Yes it came with.4 stainless coils and I just put in .2 nicid coil last night but drain the battery rather quickly

How many ml of liquid gets used before the battery runs down? A higher ohm coil coverts electricity to heat more efficiently than low ohm coils. I build titanium wire coils as close to the 1 ohm max as possible for the sake of efficiency. I've got a new TC mod on the way that apparently will allow a starting resistance of 1.5 ohm so I'll be trying that. A brother of mine vapes 2 ml per day on an iStick 20 set to 7 watts and the battery always lasts through the day.

I used very little liquid I'll read the instructions again and try to figure it out maybe I got suggested to complicate of a machine to start with! I'm not sure I'm having a real hard time finding a happy medium

I started on an iStick TC60W. I watched a few reviews and did some research on what other people liked to vape at in temp mode. For VW mode, I started around 20 watts and increased by 2 or 3 watts until I found what I liked. For temp mode, I started around 450 F with my max watts set at the wattage I liked in VW mode. Make sure you lock the resistance in temp mode when the coil is at room temperature.

OK I just finally understood I was doing it all wrong I'm getting it thanks for making me read its been my biggest problem in life I never read properly ha ha ha!

Not familiar with that device but im getting the opposite as yall?...tc actually extends the life of my vaporshark dna 40 and koopor mini. both being single 18650 devices. On the dna you can watch the wattage being regulated down to maintain temp....obviously vw mode doesnt and as such drains the battery faster.

All good I wasn't making the proper difference between the two modes . last I installed a .2 ohm nicid coil but for some stupid reason I kept plating with the wattage instead of temp so my new coil kept on gurgling and just sucking down battery I had a small revelation 10 minutes ago when I reread instructions and now it makes sense I'm now getting flavors smoke and a good hit to the lungs very happy man right now because tomorrow its quitting smoking time . what can I say I'm a noon but learning I love forums like these have a good day everybody time for me to go play with new snowblower
