battery noob question

I'm a newbie when it comes to batteries so here is my question.I have a stainless steel tube mod that I use one Ultra Fire BRC 18650 3000mah 3.7V battery in it.What batteries would I need to stack to up the voltage for this mod?Don't take my question as ignorance lol I just don't know.

Not an easy question to answer, I use 2 x 17340 LiFePO4 safe chemistry batteries to get up to 6v but I have a GGTS and can vary the length of the mod.

You'll have to give us more details of mod, length.....etc.

This is really all I know about it.I copied this from the site....The XL1 is 109mm from bottom to top of screw and has a diameter of 20mm.Here is a picture of it.The picture shows a 510 to GO GO cartomizer adapter on the top of it.

There is nothing wrong with ignorance, it can be corrected. Stupidity is harder to deal with.

I have no idea what the switch is rated.I'm going to contact the person that sent it to me and ask them about all the specs on it.

Well an 18650 battery is 18mm in diameter and 65mm long, so you would need a battery that is half the length of the 18650, the 16340 seems to be the best one on the market. If you stick with LiFePO4 it'll keep you at 6V where the LiIon will be at 7.4V.
