Battery not charging

I recently ordered an Ultra Fire 14650 1300 MaH battery for my E-power. I just got in the mail last night, and tried charging it this morning, but the light remains green. I tried using it for a day to drain it a bit and put it back on the charger but it's still green. It's not the charger because both of my other smoktech 14650 battery's are charging. What could the problem be? It works in my E-power. I assumed the ultrafire would be compatible with my charger(which came with the empower) since they are both 14650.

Sometimes I had to spin certain batteries around a bit while in the charger to get the light to go red. That, and I also would bend the contacts around a little. Also, maybe try unplugging it a few times, and see if it will reset.

True. Some batteries need a jiggle and a wiggle to make proper contact.
