My Intellicharger I4 is used these days for charging NiMh AA and AAA batteries. It's a good charger, but I replaced it with an Efest Luc4.
It's strange that one battery won't trigger it to start the process of checking and charging that one battery. If it's showing 4.17v on a meter it should still go through the initialization routine and end with 3 LEDs lighted.
