I have a lil chuck and using the Ultrafire 18350 protected 3.7

I am finding that my chuck works super when I first put in the freshly charged battery. But, about 4 hours into it, performance starts to drop off. Is there a different type of battery that provides better -longer lasting performance? Would a high/low drain battery type help in any way? Its not the time I get from a fresh battery its just the performance is dropping before the battery should be drained. Any suggestions for me?
Thanks Jenn

Looks like jnnfrlsw has a Little Chuck like I have on order. Anyone seen the 18350 in LiMn? I have looked around and not seen them. I have a few no name 18350s I received with another mod that are crap. Suggestions? I need to get some in stock for when my Little Chuck is born.

Generally protected is better I know, but anyone using unprotected in their Little Chucks?

18350s seem to be a new battery. MadVapes is the only place that carries the protected ones. LightHound told me they were going to carry it.

The other batteries I have are the AW16340 LiMNs -- 550mAh. I know they're safer. I know LiMNs will probably have a more steady rate of discharge. But I hate changing batteries what seems like every few minutes.

OK....so I have the 18350's from Madvapes and the charger recommended.

Went on vacation in US now plugged into an outlet I have never used before.

the batt I put in the charger about 2 hours ago.....the charger is showing green, but it blinks red...intermittently, some after a split sec, some after a sec, some after 1 1/2 sec....no pattern i.e.....no set standard time between blinks....anyone know what this means?

I have the same issue as the OP. I'm using the protected UltraFire 18350s from MadVapes.

Bones, my charger does the same thing. Usually I'm away when my extra batt is charging, so I've only actually seen it exhibit this behavior twice. Both times I left it alone and it eventually went solid green.

Mine does the same thing. Must be some sort of a trickle charge like previously stated.

I'm using the same battery as Jenn with same issue.

Haven't seen any other 183's of any kind except these at Madvapes.

Apparently the other recommended batts that are 16340 last even less (I think I saw this in one of Poiea's posts).

Maybe she will jump in and comment on this issue, too.:D

No, I havent tried the 16340 as they do not last as long. Still using the only option and just changing them out every 4 hours.
