Battery Preference???

i just ordered and received one XL, one standard, and one shorty battery (ALL AUTO). i love the size and feel of the shorty so much, I wasnt so keen on the XLs anymore...

but when i gave the XL a proper run through, i noticed the draw was so much easier. upon further inspection, they appear to have much smaller holes in the threading than both the standard and shorty batteries. I assume this is what contributes to the easy and smooth draw they provide.

so as it stands, i am torn. i love the size and portability of the shorty and standard batt's, but the draw of the XLs is far superior.

so my question... which do you prefer, and why?

and to the V4L crew... can we get standard and shorty batteries with the same, easy draw as the XL's?

I love the xl manual batteries. I purchased them solely for the longer battery life, but was really suprised by how nice the draw is. My friends both smoke the regular manuals and are thinking about getting the xl after they tried mine. It took me a little while to get used to the size and feel of it, but now it seems like a natural extension of my hand. I hardly ever put it down when I'm out and about.

I have 7 XL manuals and a few other batteries that I won't use unless I get desperate.

I agree 100%. Reg manuals have the perfect draw, especially for the prem cartos. Regular and shortie autos' holes should be a tiny-teeny tad smaller, while the XLs' holes should be a teeny-tiny tad larger.

i love the auto shorties!! it's the weight and the feel that that keeps me coming back, the shortened battery life doesn't bother me as i am use to the 510. the draw bugs me a bit, but that's easily fixed with a toothpick.

i like 'em burshed stainless with an acrylic (custom) ash cap

XL mans all the way. Any noobs here may want to try vaping a batt to nearly dry and then moving the same carto to a fresh batt. The difference can be huge, suddenly making a half-filled carto vape like new. So XL=better vaping for a longer period if that's important to you. The man switch just adds better control, which many of us like.

I just recently bought 2 xls. One auto, one manual. I love them both and am going to be getting a third very soon. Im a heavy vaper and 3 will be perfect to get me through a 16 hr day.

I like them all! But going to work i always have my trusty Xlong chrome auto in my Leaford Lanyard for stealth vaping. At home i switch between the shorties and reg size [and my manual PT of course]
I've been really liking the autos more and more, no button and it just feels good

Shorty lover here. I'll take a pack of four shorties over an XL. Not exactly cost effective, but you can't beat the feel of a nice shorty hanging in your lips hands free.

Oh but now I have a quick batt question: I'm tempted to give an XL a try, but I'm wondering if they are ever available in the light green and are just possibly out of that color right now?

My favorite battery by far is the XL manual. I am not a fan of the larger air holes on the new short autos, even after trying the modifications. I do love the size however.

I recently traded one of my new style auto shorties for a manual shortie (thanks wisteelersfan!), and think I'm in love. The larger air holes work well on these short manual batteries. So well in fact, that I'm planning to purchase a few more!
