So in my first order I got 3 batteries. All shorty autos 2 blue LED and one red. Both the blue ones have been great but the red one has a really hard draw and the led doesnt stay lit. I tried cleaning as per Born's suggestion in another thread and it helped. For about 3 puffs. Now it's back to barely lighting unless i suck like a mad man, even then sometimes it won't. Any suggestions? And thanks to everyone on here. Tons of great ideas and support. I think its one of the main reasons I went with V4L. I forgot to mention that I HAVE tried several different carts on it also. They work fine on the other batteries just not this one.

And thanks Maxx I had already read that thread last night when I encountered the problem. Wasn't sure if it was just me since it was my first day with this. Blocking off the holes helped marginally. Tightening a cart down like it's a lug nut actually helps more.
Should i just order a new one maybe? I thought the air hole issue was only with the regular autos. Didn't see a mention of the shorty's.

Even your ring method didn't work. I'm thinking it must just be a bad switch. If i compare the battery holes to my other ones they look the same size but on the inside it looks like a black diaphragm(?) looking thing blocks way more of the hole's area then on the other 2. I think I just need to place another order. And i tried telling myself I did this to save money. HAHAHA I'm a gadget junkie. 4th order in less than 2 weeks is on the horizon.
