Have no idea whats going on here but maybe someone can help me. I just had 2 batteries (autos) decide to act up on me.

  1. Battery fell off of bed onto floor. Now it is DEAD! nothing when I try to use it. When I go to charge it the green light on the end turns on and stays on. That worries me a little. I have had this battery for about a month.
  2. This is weird, out of nowhere when I take a drag it stays on till the auto shut off kicks in. And that happens every time. I have no idea how or why this is happening.
So if anyone has had this happen b4 and found a fix let me know. I'm running out of batteries over here...8-o

I have to agree that the "laynard" is not my style. Great concept, but V4L needs a few more excellent ways to carry the ever-so-fragile PV. Because of drops on various types of flooring, I have killed 3 batteries. Battery death is a "grave" concern among PV owners, especially when said battery has taken on "a life of its own." Damn the puns.

The clip on pocket protector style is one option. What are some others? We need some Bond-esque novelties, kind of like a little threaded pocket built into a belt or perhaps an under-arm holster... some kind of concealed stealth carrier. I want a cousy for a cold one to contain a side-car for my VK.

I tried that today, I took a clip off of mechaical pencil and slid it on. It worked, but when the battery went dead I had to wrestle it off the dead one, then wrestle it on the fresh one, it tokkk better than five min. and I wasn't in a really good spot to do that!
I was loking for a carpenter pencil holder or something of that sort at Lowes the other day and couldn't find anything.

I saw one of those for the sharpie markers, two problems I saw, 1) it wont breathe! 2) I think you might look a it like a dork walking around with a wire hanging on the front of your e-cig to your belt!

I was thinking more along the lines of the lanyard, maybe in rubberized leather, without the neckless but a metal spring clip on it.
The leather is stif enough to hold it in, the rubber to help kep it dry and absorb shocks from falls/jolts. Clip it in your pocket, pull the whole thing for a hit, slide it back in your pocket. Easy enough to change out the batts, but it protects them.
