battery problems

I can put fully charged battery in my wife's ipv2,it says its half full drains a lot with every hit dead in about 10 hits.any ideas what's wrong?

Ive had similiar issues with batteries to. How old is the batterie? Ive had them totaly just burnout and fry but ive also had chargers that were bad, best bet is just to buy a new batterie

Do you have a DMM that you can Check the Battery Voltage with?

Or do you have a Friend or Neighbor that can check it for you?

What battery(s) are you using? ( brand name, mah, CDR/ continuous discharge rate).
What is the resistance of the delivery device you're using?

I would just buy a new battery.
