battery question VZ Vari -4

Hi, I am looking to replace the batteries in my VZ vari -4 mod and the batteries are IMR 18350. I have found replacement rechargeable batteries that are 1200 ma but the ones that came with my mod are 800 ma. What is the difference? Will the 1200 work or only 800? I know where to get the 800 ma ones, but I have found a better price for the 1200.

They should work just fine. I would be surprised if they were actually 1200 mAh. Often times, the battery manufacturers over rate their batteries. Anyway, you won't have a problem with the higher mAh batteries.

great thanks, what is the difference though? Im cool if they work but just curious why one would choose one mAh over another? more power, longer lasting?
