I recently purchased some batteries (14500's) And when I got them in the mail I noticed that the positive terminal does NOT have the little raised nub on it. So it does not make contact with my VV box mod connection. Is there any way to have a quick fix on that? I have tried to bend out the positive connection to make contact but it still doesn't quite touch. Any advice will be greatly appreicated.

Oh that's just crummy luck. Dont mess up your mod trying to make contact. They have little magnets for that problem, most companies that sell batts will have them, if not I think your local Radioshack or home improvement will have them. Good luck.
You will have a devil of a time getting those little magnets in place in a little 3xAA box mod. Not something I'd want to mess with twice a day.
It would be easier to just buy some Trustfire 14500 bats that do have a raised button. Ya I know, they cost a whopping $4.25 each.

A piece of folded aluminum foil is effective if their isn't much room. Not sure of the safety of it but it has gotten me through a pinch before.
