battery question

Hi

I just bought an ecig from a local shop don't really know much a about it as far as voltage or anything it has three pieces battery, tank, and a piece that screws into the bottom of the tank which holds the wick my question is this the battery can be turned on/off by five rapid clicks. Should I turn it off after every use?

No, it's only so the device won't fire in a pocket, purse etc

Not a bad idea, if anything just to avoid accidental firing of your coil/tank when not needed. A lot of times they end up in a pocket, or bag, and can be pressed when not intended.. Welcome and Happy Vaping! Z

No, the battery only drains if you're firing it. As the other said, it's a lock feature, not an "off" switch. It's "off" just sitting there.

A gun is a good analogy here. The click-5-times thing is like safety. Just because the safety is off doesn't mean the gun is firing, you know? It simply means pulling the trigger won't work.

That said, it's still a good habit to get into, at least when you're putting it away or in your pocket. They accidentally go off way more than you'd think...

I guess my other newbie question is that I vape waaaaayyyyy more then I smoked I only smoked maybe two packs in three days but I use my ecig heavily is that typical? Sorry my grammer is bad my tablet sucks for typing
