sorry guys, my search-fu is weak.

i tried searching but couldn't find anything specific to the sigelei 75w and batts.

i have a sigelei 75w device. i both drip and have a tank that i swap back and forth depending on if i'm at home or driving. i've noticed that since i've started dripping, i can't keep a charge very long. i'm looking to buy new batteries. at this time i'm not interested in getting a different device, but only looking to replace my batteries. im currently using a LG 18650 3.7v 3000mAh battery. i found these on ebay and wonder if they are safe.
(Lot 6) High Drain INR 18650 35A 3.7V Rechargeable Battery for Samsung 25R

if they aren't, i'd appreciate if you guys could point me in the right direction. i also need a good charger. i've been switching between the charger that came w/ my very first device, a vamo 3+ years ago, and a usb cable

i'm not trying to break the bank. i don't know whats a reasonable price. i like the price in the link provided above.

any who, thanks for reading and thanks in advance.

Those eBay batteries, if they are actually the ones in the picture (or similar), look to be rewrapped cells. Genuine Samsung 25R batteries should be green, I believe.

I personally wouldn't buy any batteries off of eBay or even Amazon at this point. There's simply way too many knock-off battery rewraps being listed as authentic, giving the end user no clue what the capacity, drain rate, etc., even are. For quality batteries, I've been going to the Orbrtonic website to order mine. Their prices are very reasonable and I haven't found anything to indicate that they're selling knock-off batteries. Check out their prices for comparison.

As for a charger, I'm partial to the Nitecore line, though I've read some decent reviews on Xtar and a few others. I prefer the safety features that Nitecore offers, which most other quality brand names will offer too. Prices aren't bad at all on those, either.

thanks kinetic.

are there any specific batteries you'd suggest for my sigelei 74w?

I've mostly been using LG HG2's, though I've still got some Panasonic 3400 mAh cells that I've had for a little while. I have married sets that I use in my RX200 but also have a Sigelei 75 TC that I've run singles of both types of battery type through. The battery you use should really be dependent on the type of build you're running in your atty, though both batteries listed will work well for many builds.

Just bear in mind if running at higher watts that no single 18650 is going to really give you a stellar battery life. It's just the nature of the beast. That's the main reason I swapped over to the triple-18650 RX200.

The 25rs can be blue or green, I think the only difference is the greens have a higher cycle life, greens are 25r5 and blues are 25r2 I believe

Ah, my mistake if that's the case. I've used the green 25R's before, but never even knew about blue ones. Still, I personally wouldn't recommend buying batteries off of eBay.

Rule 1) Don't buy batteries off of eBay or Amazon if you can.
2) The Samsung 25R is a good battery, though at 75watts you'll want either Sony VTC3s, LG HB2, LG HB4, or LG HB6s being they are true 30amp CDR batteries, the 25R is a 20amp CDR by Samsung's own specs (so max can run as single batteries about 55 to 60ish watts), there are no batteries 35amp or higher CDR, these are marketing hype of putting the short pulse discharge rating as the CDR, always use the true CDR of a battery.
3) Looking for a deal on batteries check out these vendors if in the USA

LG HG2 $5.99 3000mAh High Drain IMR Battery INR18650HG2
Reputable supplier with a great price on the HG2's right now.

Chargers : Nitecore Digicharger D4
I picked this one up last week. Great charger, but slow as molasses. Takes almost 6 hours to charge (4) 3000 mAh 18650's.

Efest LUC S2 Charger $22.95 - Charger - Accessories
I also have this charger and it's been solid. Charges all 18's and 26's as well. Has a 2A quick charge setting for when you're in a hurry. Will charge (2) 18650's in about 30 - 45 mins, but they get warm. On the .5 amp setting, will charge 2 batteries in about 2 1/2 hours.

ETA: Those Sammy 25r's are 20A batteries, not 35A. There are NO 35A batteries out there. Anyone who labels their batteries as such is a liar.

thanks for taking the time fellas.

i picked up 8 LG HG2's

That's more like it.
While one battery is charging, freshly used batteries can rest while waiting in line to charge.
And while using one battery, freshly charged batteries can rest while waiting in line to be used.

Batteries could use some relaxation time between charge/discharge activity.
