thanks everyone for all this great info. do run low amps, with 3 brands of 18's claiming 35 to 3000 mah.my use is similar to a little less to yours.10 18650s with use of 2-3 cells a day. There are 2 generally in a charger every 24 hrs. When the weather cools, I'll order some 21700s. I don't want them sitting in hot brick mailbox.
3500 to 3000mah,thats what i get for shor18650 35A 3000mah?
I'll just be quiet, lol. That's a lot of batteries!
i use between 4 to 6 amps. why are you fixated on amps?i was talking about using 4000 to 6000mah a day.But the CDR is nowhere near 35A. With a 3500mah 18650 you get 10A max. And that's already pushing the cell to its limit.
A 3000mah 18650 will have a max CDR of 20A.
was hoping that i was on the low side.I'll just be quiet, lol.
Yeah. Whatever.i use between 4 to 6 amps. why are you fixated on amps?i was talking about using 4000 to 6000mah a day.
work for you is your birth right if you claim it. just be prepared to buy more in the future.I charge my mods, if possible, through their USB port until it's time to change the coil, generally. When the coil/pod/whatever is worn out, I replace the coil and put the battery on a discharge/charge cycle to refresh it.
I don't know if that's "right" or not, but it works for me.
