What mod are you using? Unless its a mech with a bottom switch you really don't have to worry to much about that damage. And in that case it will constantly fire the atty. If its a regulated mod everyone I have seen always has a constant ground connection anyways so it can't short.

Panasonic used to sell a battery that the wrap did not overlap on the bottom. It was very popular for vaping a couple years ago.

I don't really know what sellotape is (probably know it by a diff name) but I have used electrical tape in a pinch. It runs the risk of coming loose tho.

    Somebody please answer my question

We're quite hesitant to do so because you're asking us to approve something risky, that someone else would do, without having all the details. I think you'll be ok, but that's just a guess. You'll have to be the one to judge whether this is safe or not.

Sellotape is a narrow clear tape. Probably best compared to our "Scotch tape".

Can i use a sellotape at the torn part?
Can i just use sellotape at the torn part?
    Somebody please answer my question
So you don't have two dollars and a hair dryer, then? Like we said, it's probably fine, but when your safety (and that of those around you) is on the line, why take any chances at all?

If you do tape it, though, you're probably better off using electrical tape instead.
