i modded the button by adding a button to it? it's hard to describe.

The point is that a firing pin travels in an arc since it is fixed at one end and so i thought i round button on the firing pin would provide more control than on,mash it and off.

Since i did this i have not ruined another firing button - it is coated with ceramic paint, but that is a waste of time and it might as well be bare metal. It's nickel.

What happens when it touches the door ? or are you running with your junk hanging in the wind ??

it is not large enough to touch the door.

Besides which to make a short, it has to be touching the door and the pin has to be touching the battery, all simultaneously.

T
The door the side or the back I'd guess if you've not had a short yet its due to the paint on your button. Your a radia guy you should know that  right?

The top is not just floating there - it is epoxy resin glued to the delrin button. It's a lot more secure than most of my teeth it seems!

But the button is bigger around than the batt so the outer edges would contact the mod sides right ?

Are we looking at the same picture? That is not a picture of a button on top of a battery; it's a picture of a little metal button glued onto the bottom of the delrin firing button. Right, T?
