I have been using the 3.7v batteries linked on the thag built site for quite a while. I decided I wanted to see what the 6v was about so I ordered 6 batteries (the green 3v ones also linked) I am getting nothing. I used the wet your thumb and touch it with your tongue and they definitely have juice. I have a big chuck. What am I doing wrong? I am using standad 510 atomizers from TW.
Thanks!

They are slightly longer than the 3.7 I have been using and also slightly narrower. The spring on the cap is very tight. I really just don't understand why Jeff would have them linked on thagbuilt if they won't work on his device. Honestly I just figured my chuck with a 510 keeps triggering the protected circuit or something... Idk. I was hoping some of you had similar experiences.

Thanks for your reply Jeff,

I tried that with 2 sets. Still nothing... I think I just ordered the wrong batts... The CHUCK still works great with the 18650. These 16340s actually work in my screwdriver... Kinda. I have to leave it mostly unscrewed otherwise it will just be always on. But it proves the batteries do work. I don't know. I will just put them in the drawer with my sd and save them for a rainy day. Desperate times call for desperate measures. So which batteries do I need to 6v a big CHUCK? Are the 16340s for the little CHUCK?
Thanks guys!

16340 is what I use in my lil Chuck (well, I did until I broke it and had to send it for surgery :( )... don't have a big one, so I can't respond to your trouble, and I don't know if you're supposed to use something different to stack for 6V ...

I use these blue ones, they are LifePO4 CR123A 500mAh 3volt batteries. You can get them at Clouds of Vapor or Lighthound. Check out the battery thread, there are links for the lighthound site. Both places ship super fast! I have two different chargers, an ultra fire for strictly 3.7 volt batts, I charge my 18650's on them and use spacers for my small 3.7's for the little chuck. I have another ultrafire charger that can switch between 3.7 or 3 volts that I leave set at three volts just for my big chuck-since I vape at 6 volts almost all the time. This way I have no screw ups. Definitely worth the investment! Poeia is the ultimate link poster here and if she pops in, I guarantee you she will click you to the exact item. The charger to use with these batts is UltraFire WF-138.

COV is out of stock. If lighthound has them in stock, you will have them in just a few days.

From everything I have been told by the experts who actually can understand all the battery stuff, Poeia and Drozd, these batts are the safest way to go at high voltage. I get about two days on a regular boge carto, 1o hours on a dual coil. But I vape like a research monkey. :)

Amy, go have that "me" day right now. Because you are getting delusional. With batteries I understand which end is positive, which is negative and that a higher mah means longer between charges. Other than that, I am good at remembering what I read and didn't understand so I can give others a link to it.

All the battery people around here say that AW has better quality control than Ultrafire or Trustfire.

AW LiFePO4 3 Volt Lithium Rechargeable Battery
These are the 3V I got for my big Chuck. I already had the charger that will do both 3V and 3.7V (see the bottom of the linked page) but you have to remember to flip the switch depending on which you are charging.

I prefer 3.7V to 6V vaping. These are the batteries I use every day:

I also bought a pair of Ultrafire to compare them because the AW were much more expensive. But the AWs are Nickel whatever, instead of LiIon and it says they are lighter. It turns out they are noticeably lighter -- to the point where I only use the Ultrafires if I forgot to recharge the AWs.
