Battery upgrade recommendation?

I have several GS tanks (the 22mm). I use one everyday at home. I don't use the nickel coils that come with them. I use the 1.5 coils. I run them at 15-17 watts with high VG juice. Big enough clouds for me. Great flavor. Air flow is a bit tight but I don't like too much air flow. Never had one leak.

For running around town, I use a clone GS Air MS from fasttech. Mainly because they fit my iStick 20w batteries better. I use the authentic Eleaf 1.5 coils with those because the clone coils are terrible.

Lots to learn in this area to be sure. I wonder though, comparing cigalike vape to e-juice the e-juice i have doesn't taste as well, it basically has this oily flair, possibly olive oil, which i don't like very much. Do u know if that's generic to e-juice or has to do with the vg ratio?

Trying to decide whether to return both aspire batteries at the moment, or replace just one. Would you replace two aspire vv bats will joytech ego be better or similar?

The 'oily' sensation is quite possibly due to a high VG content, especially if you've been used to the high PG liquids commonly used in prefilled cigalikes. VG is responsible for producing most of the visible 'clouds', but is a poor flavour carrier - PG carries flavour far better, produces less visible vapour, and gives a stronger 'throat hit'.

There are so many eliquids available these days, that you are sure to find some that you like out there - me, I'm poor and cheap at the moment, so I tend to buy £1/10ml 24mg liquids and dilute them down with my 50/50 PG/VG unflavoured mix and get around 30-40ml from 10ml of bought juice. I find a lot of commercial juice to be very strongly flavoured, so the diluted juice suits me just fine.

I would try to return both of those Aspire mods if they aren't performing properly - Aspire seem to make OK tanks, but poor mods - and replace them with something decent like the AIO or whatever.
