Was a little miffed yesterday. I bought a maxi rough stack from Mad Vapes last week and so when it arrived at my house it came with what it was supposed to but when I called to order a couple of extra batterys yesterday they told me that I could not order the same batterys that came with it and that the batterys I was going to have to order that I would have to buy a diffrent charger:blink:. What kind of crap is that? I like my MRS V2 and it gives tons of vapor but that does not seem right. It would be nice if they would let you know that when you buy the MRS V2 from them that if you want extra batterys for it that you will have to buy an extra charger as well, although on there site it has the same batterys that came with my MRS V2.:( I guess that I will still order trustfire batterys from them for my MRS V2 but that will come to a end when I find another PV that I like.

If it's the kit on there, they are 3v rcr123a (16340) LiFePO4 880mah batteries. Looking at madvapes site, it's not that you need a new charger, it's that the only way madvapes sells those particular batteries is with a charger. I agree that's strange. I'm not sure whether a regular 16340 LIon will work or not.

Jerry, the MaxiRoughStack V2 uses 3 different types of batteries. Either one 18650 for 3.7 vaping or 2 16340 3.7 volt batts for 7.2 volt vaping, or 2 16340, 3 volt batteries for 6 volt vaping.

Which ones do you want to order? Which ones came with your MRS?

You can not charge 3.7 volt batts with a 3 volt charger nor vice versa. The exception is if you have a multi-volt charger like the AD-103, but it only charges one at a time.

If you want the 16340/rcr123 batteries, (3 volt) they may just be temporarily out of stock. I don't know if you could find them anywhere else. I think they are a rare bird. Maybe extinct now, the way it looks, LOL.

They were the 3v batterys and they told me that the charger I have wont charge the new batterys they are going to send me the 3.7v batterys. It is not a real big deal but it should be noted. I guess its what I would call NOOB-B-WARE. Its a learning curve and bet I will ask more questions in the future. LOL

Don you should work for them, that is all they had to tell me and I would have been ok with "sorry we are out stock on those batterys, but we have these nice 3.7v ultrafire batterys that will let you vape at 7.4v" again its my noobness that gets the better of me. Now do I edit my orig post or do I leave it for future noobs so they will ask the right questions?
