This is the best battery that you can get for your vamo. It will out perform all others.

$12.51 Panasonic NCR18650PF 3.6V "2900mAh" Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries (2-Pack) - unprotected / minimum capacity 2750mAh / 10A maximum discharge at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

This is a safe chemistry hybrid battery. Very safe to use. The batteries with the extra protection circuit will not work in many mods such as the Vamo.

Pricey but, Amazon has them as well.

Amazon.com: Panasonic NCR18650PF 3.6V "2900mAh" Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries (2-Pack): Electronics

This is where I got mine for $10 each also got my Nitecore charger here
https://illuminationsupply.com/batt...gh-discharge-flat-top-p-751.html#.UnXDTfnkvig

They also have a discount code.

CPFUser for an extra 5% discount

Good luck!

Thanks i bookmarked the pages, was looking for something above 2000 MA. but isnt fasttech having problems shipping batteries?

Yes and they are on holiday for Chinese New Year right now. I think that they started using Singapore Post instead of HK Post but it still takes a long time to get them from what I hear.

If you need some right away, I would order from Illumination Supply. I think that their shipping is $4.99 but worth it if you order a few. They do ship them in the plastic battery boxes. They also have the Nitecore Charger for 12.99 if you need one.

Thanks I will try out the other one when I get home and if it doesn't work I will go ahead and purchase from one of these other sites. Much appreciated. I also noticed someone said they use a top button battery. Can the V2 take both flattop and button top?

It will take either flat or button top and the only reason I bought button top is cuz there used to be a few Mods out there that weren't flat top friendly= planning for the future.

I ordered a V2 from fasttech and it came with 1 battery. So I ordered 2 more from Amazon. Amazon.com: Two Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries QTY 2: Electronics

They don't work in my VAMO V2. They look exactly like the battery that came with my V2 but when I charged them and put them in my V2 it wont even turn on... What batteries do I need to buy for the V2?

normally 3400mAh batteries are protected. They have a thin disc attached at (normally) the negative end of the battery. I had purchased 2 Efest 3400 18650's with protection, both charged up in the charger but didnt like the vamo either. Take a battery you know that is working and lay it along side the new non working battery and see if there is a ever so slight difference in length. The protected battery will be about an 1/8" longer. I removed the protection discs off of my batteries, BUT I also know how to do it... if you feel any hesitation in doing so DONT. Send them back and get some other types suggested in the other posts here.

Last I heard Malaysia Post was acceptable for shipping Mod batts from FT but tracking won't show up for about 3-5 days. Regarding holidays if ordering from FT expect a very long wait as they will be extremely backlogged.

That is actually the first thing I did was stand my current one and the other side by side next to eachother. Noticed the Panasonics I got off Amazon were slightly longer. I guess that is my problem then even though their Amazon page stats it is not protected. I will be returning these and going with the 2900maH ones that was suggested. Thanks for all the help, much appreciated.

Vaporgeek.com has the Panasonic NCR18650B $15. More expensive but in Canada. Based on previous experience should arrive in less than a week. Orbitronics site the shipping to Canada is 36$ the page says free shipping but when you go to buy $36. From the reading I've done the NCR18650B are not the best for vapors the CGR18650CH are more highly recommended. I'm just having a problem finding them 1 tread said that they were discontinued. Still looking will let you know if I find any.

In Canada here's a GREAT price but OOS
(2-Pack) Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries - Camp Canadian
Here's a Vendor in Alberta:
Panasonic IMR CGR18650CH 2250mAh Battery Canada, Calgary ecig electronic cigarette | CoolVape.ca
The problem with shipping outside of countries is the dangerous goods act was amended in 2009 to include the shipping of batteries. There was a grace period but now they're clamping down internationally. A few weeks ago it was costing about $50? to ship batts from FT in China.

Thanks Vapoor. I wasn't aware of Coolvape. I use Mindfields list of vendors and they aren't on it. I will PM him so that they are added and drop them a note to up their presence on here & Wackedout. Seem like a good site I'll have to try some of their juice. Calgary is 3 hours away but I do get up there so I might be able to meet them. There is a meet this weekend in Calgary but I have to work.

So I just got home from work, and took another look at the 2 batteries I purchased. They are indeed a little bit longer then the one that came with the VAMO, and the negative side looks completely different. I am almost positive they have sent me protected batteries. Took my multimeter to them and they both are fully charged. Time to send them back, and buy those other ones that were linked here earlier today. Thanks again.

You're welcome. There are sooo many new Vendors opening up shop it's hard to keep track. Not such a bad idea to grab some of those Pannys as it's rare to see a Cdn Vendor selling them. I own 8 of the CGR18650CH and really like them.

LOLLL there's a story behind the pic.
Cheers and Best of Luck
