Battle of the 36MG Menthol Pures' Cash VS. TW

OK, my Pure Smoker CaSH 36MG True Menthol showed up Saturday and I have to say... not bad at all. I was concerned because of the price vs. the Totally Wicked 36MG Menthol I thought I would get an inferior blend, that didn't happen.

The Pure Smoker's CaSH (Pure) appears to have slightly more Propylene Glycol (PG) then the Totally Wicked (TW). The TW is very thick and while dripping actual takes a little longer to drop. In comparison the TW has more of a gel consistency.

Taste reflects the above comparison, where the TW has a little more kick to flavor. Yet both have identical throat hit, draw and vapor.

Packaging for Pure is a plastic bottle with dropper tip, kinda like a large Visine bottle, while TW is in glass pharmacy grade bottle with removable dropper.

In general I would say Pure is TW with an extra 10ML of PG, but the taste doesn't reflect that much of a cut.

Pure's was 50ml for $29.99 and TW's was 30ml for $29.99
Pure's was closer then TW's to an actual menthol cigarette, but for a straight kick in the head flavor TW's is unbeatable.

Both companies processed the orders quickly, and both companies shipped items quickly.

I guess I would honestly have to say that between these two products it is Pure's price and quantity that makes them the better choice, as usual. That being said TW's availability will always keep them in business and in my favorites, plus I kinda like the kick in the head and I'm not afraid to pay for it.

I would have to go with Puresmokers True Menthol.I have not tried the TW,basicly because of the price,and the TM truley does it for me.I do enjoy the menthol from True Vapor also,but again,a little higher in price than PS.Every dollar counts these! The Wiz!

+1. I normally use TW's unflavored 36mg for my custom flavors, but bought a bottle of TW Menthol 24mg. It's got such a hit that I actually had to cut it with glycerine to spare my throat.

Same...when I hit the 24mg M/boro for the first time I almost lost a vertebrae.

Cut, it's a wonderful thing. Straight...once you're used to it it's great...getting there is a hike, though.

Thanks for the review sdaniels.With Puresmoker in transition,I had to order my 36mg menthol from TW(UK site...no problems please!!).Between yours and Terraphon's Reviews it seems like it was the smart thing to do until PS is up and running again.I wasn't crazy about dishing out the extra cash for a 30ml bottle,but for me it's all about the throat hit,which it seems I'll get with this. Again thanks for the imput!The Wiz!

I haven't received my TW 36ml yet but already bought the glycerine thanks to posts like this. How much glycerine do you cut it with?

I use about 1/3 glycerine to 2/3 TW Menthol, but it's all about how it suits you. I arrived at that by careful consideration and extensive testing. NOT. I played around with the mix until the taste and strength were satisfying to me.

On another note, I have 2 orders I'm waiting for from TW UK. Methinks that Puresmoker will be back up and running before the UK order arrives.

[Edit] I just noticed that you ordered the TW 36mg. I was referencing the 24mg in my mix. The Menthol flavor should be the same, so if you are looking to cut the throat hit my measurements should be ok. If you are looking to regulate nicotine strength, it'd be different. I use unflavored 36mg in my custom juices... and the mix there tends to be 40% glycerine, 40% 36mg, and 20% flavoring. Your mileage will vary.

Steve's True Menthol is closest in taste to menthol analogs, but I agree with the OP, Terraphon, and Walrus... TW will knock your block off!

Terraphon....was that the inhale or exhale?(great pic).one brief comment on the above mentioned liquids.....haven't recieved my TW yet...but did get some Vapornine 36mg Menthol...very nice! If there is any difference between this and PS True....I can't tell! might come in handy for those waiting for PS to get back up and runningThe Wiz!

Actually, that's a bad response. Although the physical effects may be true, and I tend to agree... whole rapid heartly, Steve's list no contents at all just a generic sticker that says "Pure".

TW actually lists it's ingredients...
Tobacco Essential Oil 5%
Tobacco Lead Oil 5%
Nicotine (From Tobacco Leaf) 3%

...and a host of other chemicals that I'm to tired to read and type, 13 to be precise. In the likes of Trimethylpyrazine, and Tetramethylpyrazine.

At least it's there, and no surprise on the lead, this stuff does come from China. I think the Chinese use it instead of salt.

I got my TW 36ml menthol yesterday and all I can say is WOW! I'm having the same head swim problem. I didn't know if it was the glycerine I cut it with or the liquid itself. Now I know. I was going to get some VG to cut it with. Do you think that will help or would I be wasting my money? I can't go around stoned all the time. I drive for a living.

I don't know what exactly it is about the TW that hits me so hard. I cut my 36mg 2:1 with VG and still makes me feel really weird. I don't get that from PS or Janty at similar strengths. Maybe it's one of the "other 13" ingredients I'm sensitive to.

Also in regards to "Tobacco Lead Oil 5%", I always attribute this to a translation/typo error. Should be "Tobacco Leaf Oil 5%" I think. But then, it sems like that typo occurs a lot... Is there such a thing as "Tobacco Lead Oil"?

I would agree, but the bottle clearly says "Nicotine (From Tobacco Leaf) 3%" and I would think a typo of the word leaf would occur in more than one location. Don't you? JK

There is lead in Tobacco.
Tobacco and tobacco smoke contain small amounts of lead-210 (210Pb) and polonium-210 (210Po) both of which are radioactive carcinogens.

Don't you people know what you smoke? I do, that's what makes it so thrilling! JK
