BDL hi-drains...FAIL.................

...just a FYI for all...I bought a pair of BDL IMR 14650 hi-drains at the beginning of OCT, to go with my E-Power...one was awesome to start, the other, not so much and it was weaker and weaker with each use. It finally quit taking a charge and I chucked it the trash a couple of weeks ago...the other, started decreasing in performance until, tonite, it refused to charge up and into the trash it went as well...I was rotating these batts with the two generic, no name batts that came with the E-Power kit and using a Trustfire TR004 charger and the two generics are still running just as strong as the first time I used them...I am passing this info on, in the interest of anyone who may be considering purchasing these batts, regardless of the vendor. I did not ask the vendor for any relief under warranty and did not inform them of any problems until tonite...this is not a vendor complaint but, one about BDL brand batts.

BDLs are hit and miss, that's for sure. - Though I've had great luck with some BDL 18350s, I'll never buy another 18650 or 14500 BDL.

MNKE or AW are my brands of choice now.

Sorry to hear about the BDL's. Never used those batts honestly, always stuck with the AW IMR's.

BDL's were the only 14650 IMR hi-drains I have come across, all the rest have been regular Li-Ions...I think I shall just stick with them since I have been getting such good service out of the generic LI's that came with the kit....
