3. Do you DIY your own juice?

I do and have for quite a while, I get much better flavor and variety at much reduced cost.

To those thinking about try it, the way I started was with unflavored base at my desired strength and 3 flavors to simply mix with the base in smaller bottles. Found I could control how much or how little flavor strength was a huge plus for me. I graduated to buying nic concentrate and mixing my own base.

But I still mix simple one flavor bottles of juice, make them come out vapable to me in flavor. Then I can use those to mix more complex flavors in small batches, or even a tankful at a time. It makes it very easy, and you can change your flavors just by changing the ratios you mix 2 or 3 flavors together.

One drawback is finding the flavor concentrates you particularly like, it can be almost like searching for your perfect pre-mix flavored juice. I've ended up with a variety of coffee flavors, all good for me, all a bit different, and all good mixed together in different strengths.

"4. What is your funniest or most interesting vape related story"

I have a friend from work who I got to start vaping (last summer) and when it was his 6 month vaperversary he splurged and bought 2 Atlantis tanks...one for him and one for me! He is a quiet person and I didn't really know how much he appreciated me helping him. It was a cool way to show me :)

2/18 #1 I haven't entered the world of sub ohm's and so far this is my favorite for that :

Kanger Subtank

The Subtank is a great device, and it's so versatile. Can be used as a Sub ohm, non sub ohm, or rebuildable. In my opinion, it's the best tank Kanger has ever made. I've used mine every day since I got it.

2/18 #4 3. Do you DIY your own juice?

The closest I have gotten to DIY is adding some VG to cut down on the nic and pg level in juice I bought. I have mixed 2 flavors together (to try and salvage one). The juice quest is a frustration of sorts, my taste buds are still changing (30 days), and there are many flavors I have yet to try. I have seriously though about DIY, made a shopping list, and estimated the costs but I am not ready for that step just yet.

I've done that too, and sometimes you can rescue a juice you aren't crazy about that way. Another thing I did once was buy a big bottle of plain cheesecake premade juice, and a bunch of smaller bottles of premade flavors I thought I would like with it. That way, I had a whole bunch of different flavors of cheesecake!

Now that I've done a little bit of DIY and have some flavorings, I still add them to premade juice to make it suit my tastes more.

What is your funniest or most interesting vape related story?

I keep a few disposable cigalikes in my car to use and one day I am at a stop light puffing on one as a lady in the car next to me motioned for me to put my window down. She had a question about directions, but she commented on my little cigalike and I started to tell her what it was as fast as I could before the light changed - basically going through the abc's of vaping superfast. I really didn't even give her a chance to speak as I blabbed for like 45 seconds straight. As I finally shut up because the light was changing, she said how much she loves vaping and holds up a box mod and tank as we drove away. She probably knew more than me...and had better equipment!

That's funny Iota! I bet she really liked your enthusiasm though!

1. What is your preferred device and atty/tank and why

Clouper 30watt hana clone and kayfun lite clone. The 30watt box mod is perfect for me because I really don't vape very high on wattage, so it has more than enough power and I love the way it feels in my hand - very comfortable. The kayfun lite is so easy for me to build and has excellent flavor and vapor, so it is the first thing I pick up.

Yeah the Kayfun Lite is a great tank. It's another of my favorites. I agree about 30 watts being plenty. I've never set my E-Mech above 25 watts.

I set it to the point where the juice I am vaping tastes the best, and where I am satisfied with the amount of vapor. If I set it too high, it just tastes burnt, and it uses the batteries too fast! I'm vaping a coffee and cream vape now, and the sweet spot seems to be at 20 watts. The flavor is great, and I have to wait for the vapor to clear before I can see the computer screen.

That's in a Subtank with the stock 1.2 ohm coil and a 60/40 pg/vg juice.

1. What is your preferred device and atty/tank and why

My preferred device is my Dovpo E-Mech... with the 3100 ham efest batteries I got from PB, it gives me a full day without having to charge. It does everything I need a device to do and then some... like a clock, plus it is really well made and feels wonderful in the hand.

Atty/tank is a different story.. I have a few that I really like. The RSST, which I consider rather ugly but doesn't leak, easy to fill and mine is built with mesh. It is super quiet and a glass tank.

I will do others as the days go by since there are 4 or 5 I use and like.

My E-Mech is my favorite device too. I've gotten so I have to remember to try my other devices once in a while, because it's so great that I never put it down!

I believe I'd like this:

Orchid V4

Thanks for the contest CactusEsmokes! :vapor:

I love my Orchid too. I brought it with me when I went to visit the kids over the Christmas holidays, and never used anything else.

I went to two vape shops while I was there, and a lot of the people in them were also using the Orchid V4. I felt like I was part of an Orchid club!
