Are you thinking what I'm thinking?Being I hadn't even heard about it I guess I'm not concerned.
But you did cause me to think about Pinky and the Brain.
I been shopping... in case I don't winthread seems to have slowed down a bit tonight. no problem catching up [emoji23]
Well, I think Slow got his answer. The thing is, a battery with a 10A rating is fine for a regulated device, provided it cannot sub-ohm and limits its voltage to 5 volts--like equipment from a year or two ago. Many vendors still sell such devices and, thus, carry batteries that may not be sufficient for the new sub-ohming era in which we live. After reading yours and Bruce's posts, I realized that maybe there are still some vendors who don't have the high amp batteries. I'm so used to ordering all my batteries from Bruce, that I just assumed everyone only sold the good ones now.
Maybe my answer wasn't a good one.
Oh well, we have a saying in Maine about what assume does, but I can't say it on ECF.![]()
Ah, Tick, that was not the old Internet... that was just the old World Wide Web. Before html and browsers there was Arpanet, and before that there were BBS's which ran on computers at peoples homes (kind of like a computer version of ham radio) where one could interact much like we do on the forum, but with each user calling in individually (unless the system had multiple phone lines).2/15

"net neutrality"
Lets just say, I miss the early 90s internet before the Corps and such took over. it was a fun, informative place. where else could you find a step by step instructions for bomb making and how to bake a chocolate marble cake. AOL, let you see their world but no further, it was a portal, but real internet providers let you see the real WWW, (world wide web). Before voice, Youtube and real Government monitor and mining of your information.. So it took half a day to upload a 2 minute clip of music. You could make your own pages,(geocities was one), newsfeeds and chatrooms for any subject or imaginations. A real wild west back then. "net neutrality" is really a government over reach of of a once free internet.... No matter how they spin it, the internet of old is long gone.
ok, old man rant over.
I spared you my thoughts on what it could mean and for who, why no or yes....
Well, I was just popping in while getting the kids to bed. Thanks to Bruce and Kathi and everyone who made this contest so little like a contest (and that's a good thing!). Good night, everyone--and good luck!
G'night...
Who am I kidding, I'm staying up to wait for Cactus Claus...
OMG, I discovered we have WEtv on our cable. They have the old Abbott and Costello show from 1952 on every morning. Guess what I DVR daily now. Nothing is better than old school comedy. it's funny but they were the original rappers. Put some rap music to some of their routines of fast talking rhymes and see what I mean....
Lots of other great old shows and some not so great or ones I didn't like much. Remember the Old Route 66, the Naked City, Mister Lucky etc....
ok, lots of smoking in those old shows, I wonder what some of those character would have looked like, vaping on a mod or Box mod?
What surprised me was how much easier it was to coil on my micro-screwdriver. All the springiness was gone and the coils stayed in place where wrapped.
I did 5 wraps, and it came out 1.2Ω, a few tenths lower than I usually use but serviceable. Wicked it with ecowool and a tiny piece of rayon underneath the coil to lessen leaks. Vapes very nicely without and special torching or compressing, overall a success...![]()

Brain not up to math today. Didn't sleep well last night because the security alarm kept going off.
Had planned on cleaning bottles and making larger bottles of some I did at 10 ml test flavors but that needs to wait until my head is working again.
I have all my DIY flavors on a spreadsheet with flavor, maker, and where bought. Now want to go back and find suggested usage rates for them and add onto the sheet. That isn't happening today either but amazes me as to how much time that list saves me when looking for a flavor either when making juices or when out and need a re-order.
ok, I guess its time to answer the math quiz.
I had mentioned on another attempt to relate the equasion to vape... your all gonna kick yourselves or your going to say how silly but...
6+3=3 think nicotine< Edit oh wait I flubbed that one up a little bit...
more like 4.5 depending on X
1+1=.5 think ohms/coil
get it, got it, good! Ha Ha!
you've got to know your vape math![]()
Yeah, I messed up the USB port in my E-Mech. It was plugged in, and my husband knocked it off the desk, and now the USB port doesn't work. It's okay though, I just take the batteries out and charge them in the charger. I wouldn't be able to do that with my MVP.

It has been another great contest. I think the most fun I have had in a contest actually. Thanks Bruce and Kath for the fun time... It was great to share with all the people who entered and get to know a lot of people both new ECFers and long time ones.
My son said Okinawa is beautiful ... He was stationed there when he first went into the Air Force. At thr time, he was single and enjoying the whole ambience of the island..

I don't DIY, but I have tinkered with my e-liquid. I had some 100% VG that I couldn't use in my clearo because it was too thick. I ended up asking for double the nic, mixing it 50/50 with some PG, and adding some menthol drops and some Peppermint drops. It turned out well! I would love to take the time and figure out the correct steps to take to DIY. I'm sure peppermint is not a super hard liquid to make. Only criteria I have, I want it strong and pepperminty fresh!

Yeah, if it wasn't for ECF, I probably wouldn't still be vaping either. With only convenience stores and cigarette shops around here, I wouldn't have ever found anything decent.![]()
Just finished reading and figuring out what the last post before midnight PST was. Off to random.org.![]()

That's quite an accomplishment!!!! You don't crave nicotine since you dropped the level so fast? I am at 12mg and I don't think I will be going lower anytime soon. The guy at the vape shop gave me a 6mg to try but I haven't opened it up yet.
