2. What is your preferred juice pg/vg ratio
I prefer the higher PG, but I am now curious about higher VG flavor after answering this question. Am I missing something? Will this enhance my "juice quest?" Will my wallet hate me once again? Stay tuned and we'll be right back.....

After I got my 50W I saw the neighbor outside and went to show him my new shiny. We started chatting about vape and equipment. He went in the house and came out with a "Tugboat" dripper and gave it to me .. with all the fixins...wire, cotton, screwdrivers... "Vapers helping Vapers"

One thing I want to order from Cactus, and a hat tip for carrying them in the first place...
(yes, I have fumble-fingers..)

In all the time I've been vaping I have never placed an order for a single item, and I'm not going to start now....
My problem is deciding what to order along with them...should I get the sub-tank mini, or the Lemo, or the Billow or the Kayfun V4......or maybe a couple of them, but which two.....

2. What is your preferred juice pg/vg ratio

I prefer my juice to be 80PG / 20VG.
I can handle up to 70PG / 30Vg, but once it gets past that it taste like I am eating day old MickyD's fries. I love the throat hit. Since I have lowered down to 12 mg nicotine I have to rely on the juice base for that hit. I had some 50/50 mix that I got in 3 mg nicotine to play around with on my dripper and it left me wanting more flavor. I got clouds, but that was all I got.

4. What is your funniest or most interesting vape related story

I can't really think of a good funny or interesting story, so I'll just say that I'm so glad I found vaping & it's the only thing to ever get me away from smoking and am now tobacco free, 3 years as of this April! Also My son is a vaper and I believe he'll never go back to smoking and he has a real nice collection of vaping gear! :vapor:

Congratulations on almost three years Dave!

Yeah, that is an interesting story, because you and your son prove what so many of us know. Vaping is the only thing that works for the so many of us.

The more of us who succeed and tell our stories, the harder it will be for the powers that be to say that vaping is bad. :)

What is your preferred atty/tank and why:

Not sure I really have one at the moment. I've been using a nautilus and like it, good flavor, and I like the AFC but am beginning to get into rebuilding, and although some have, that's not something I would try on a nautilus. :)

I've never rebuilt the coils on my Nautilus or my Kangers either. It just seems so much easier to build for RDAs/RTAs. I only use the Nautilus and Kangers (except the subtank, which I use all the time), when I am on a long trip and don't have time to rebuild. They are handy for that, and I have to buy coils so infrequently that it doesn't matter. For the rest of the time, I use my rebuildables.

It's funny though, I always clean and save my used prebuilt coils just in case. :)

Thanks for the contest! I am feeling a bit blue from this weather! It's freeezing!

I know what you mean. It's snowing again today here, and building up fast. Between the cold and the snow, I think everyone is getting really tired of winter.

I hope you can get a Kayfun 4, it will help you take your mind off of winter for at least a few hours! :)

I got one of those coil master jigs and just tried it today - best coil I ever wrapped.
Did it faster.
It was tight, even and straight.
I was amazed at how easy it was and how good it turned out - definitely beats the other methods I've tried.

I need to get one too. I've been wrapping mine around the little blue screwdrivers. I understand that the Kayfun 4 likes bigger diameter coils though, so I really should get something that winds bigger coils.

It would also be nice to have something that makes it easy to make up a bunch of coils in advance. The screwdrivers work, but they aren't much fun!

The higher VG juices are supposed to be less harsh and produce more vapor, but need more flavoring than higher PG juices. I'm the opposite of most people, and my chest gets really tight with high VG, so I only vape it for short periods. It's a lot more common for people to be sensitive to PG.

Anyway, the only way to know which you prefer is to try some of each!

1. What is your preferred device and atty/tank and why

For a power source I use something that is VV or VW. I enjoy my large, heavy, rugged Innokin VTR, my light, medium sized, plastic VV Gripper, and my tiny, battery included (like an eGo) iStick-30W, among my other mods. A nice mech with a Kick is a good change of pace but I do prefer box mods.

So long as the mod can regulate the output and provide electricity, I like them all.....there's no flavor or extra vapor in basic electric current, the topper makes the difference.

Now for toppers, I have tried many, going back to pre-coiled attys & blue foam. My current favorites are my Orchids V3, V4 & V5, which I've modified to use as single coil with reduced air flow. My second favorite are my Vivi-Nova top-coil clearos..they also have been modified...drilled for additional air flow, coils re-built and re-wicked, with the coil head dremeled out to fit a larger coil and wick structure, and the silicon gasket trimmed for increased juice flow..
