That's quite an accomplishment!!!! You don't crave nicotine since you dropped the level so fast? I am at 12mg and I don't think I will be going lower anytime soon. The guy at the vape shop gave me a 6mg to try but I haven't opened it up yet.
The Kanger Subtank Mini makes HUGE difference. When I was using teensy tinsy clearos with questionable air flow, I felt I needed 18 or more. I dumped some 24 in the Subtank and almost killed my foolish self. I bought some 6 the next day and never looked back. I still have the other tanks and still run 12 in them, but I find I'm using them less and less.

02/24/2015 Entry #4 . . .

BTW: Did you read the credits for your animation? It says the author will hunt you down and "get" you if you post it anywhere... I wonder what you might "get?"

Yea - I saw that . . . But - I am giving her "props" by not deleting anything - SO "We'll" See . . . YES - Both of "Us" since Ya' also reposted it too . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Hopefully everyone will hop over to Bruce's regular thread. Even though it has "sale" in the title

That actually can be fixed - the "sale" can be removed from the title . . . Or - "Bruce" could actually start a NEW HOME Thread . . . "CactusESmokes the Home and Chit Chat Thread of Cactonians" . . . Just a thought . . .

Yeah, I'd like to see it keep going, but this thread is pretty much what we do on the home thread, only there aren't very many people on that one.

Given what's been happening here, the conversations & sharing of information, and everyone's involvement - IMO - I don't see any reason why people wouldn't pop over to hang out, or at least come-by to say "HOWDY" every so often . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Sorry I got to this thread so late. It's a very interesting read. Looks like a great group of people!

YEP . . . I know a lot of them already and just like "You" - "My" Friend . . .
REALLY GOOD PEOPLE ! ! ! :D

I think I need some higher oHm replacement coils for this......my batteries are not enough to make it go after a few hours(3-4 hours on fresh batteries).....do they make them in a 2.1 or 2.5? If so that's what I need.....since I use my own modbox I can have the batteries last all day with the higher oHm's..
Kanger Mini Protank 3

It works great, I have the air intake set at low and I am getting great hits....although the flavor isn't as strong as the mini Unitank....

I think the highest I have are 2.2 ohm

Well then that is what I will have to get since I have the 6mg juice that I haven't opened yet. I just learned to do things backwards and it will all work out!!

been reading about folks using drill bits. Instead of wrapping the fluted end with tape, just slowly drill it into a piece of wood. Once you are at the end of the flutes, just unchuck it from the drill. No more sore fingers and it won't roll away when you set it down. I found a jump ring mandrel at JoAnn's Fabrics in the jewelry section. It will do from 1 mm to 10 mm. been reading too that kayfuns like a 2mm diameter coil. Might have to try that on mine.

great idea on the jump ring mandrel ( I would use piece of wooden dowel for the drill bit) nice homework RG!

Ok on page 117, so I remember where I left off after I post this one...

On the smaller but not alot of wattage, I think I could use this one....

Sigelei Mini 30 Watt

The main use would be for my Naut, Aerotanks and Trophies. Low enough to fire them all yet powerful enough to deal with the newer sub ohm tanks.... My mods and spinners do a good job, but I just can't think that having more control on the wattage wouldn't improve them....

I will let you know Bruce.....

Big plus is the price.

they really are a good deal for the price.
they are excellent for clearos subtanks, lemos, kayfiuns, billows, atlantis etc and yes even for a little bit of subohming.
I like my sigelei 100 watt or IPV3 for subohming because thats about all I do these days so I really need the 2 battery mods
been trying to keep my builds in the .6 ohm range, it varies a bit up and down

My favorite vape is probably my kayfun lite clone and it really doesn't matter what I vape it on...mvp2, vamo2 - because I rarely find I like to go above 10 watts! I guess I am in the minority! I don't even max out those older mods, so the 100 and 150 mods just seemed crazy to me. Your point about a shift towards the 30 to 70 watt mods is the first things I've heard that makes sense to me, on the "wattage" front.

I used to run my Vamo in the 8 to 11 watt range. I like the Vamo V3 and V5. just blew out the last of them I had @ $15.00 each, they went pretty quick

I also got Mr. Owl and he is the cutest thing I have ever seen....he sure looks good on my Snowflake modbox...(I added a plastic piece on top by the connector so the RBA won't scratch the paint off)....I hope my eyes will clear up enough today to build him and give him a try by tonight.....I love how he watches me...

(In case you didn't know he's a power animal for me)...

watch out! it looks like he has an eye on something shiny...

I never saw the need for anything over maybe 50 watts IMHO. I mean, sure the youngsters love the clouds I guess, but really, how many juices can handle that much wattage. Taking my Vamo or Spinners, the taste gets burnt going into the higher ranges. maybe it's me but if i had a 100+ device, I may try it to see how high I could go, but for steady vaping, I can't see more than mid range maybe.(10 to 30ish) So a 50 would cover all my bases and really a 30 that goes low enough in wattage would work as well.

ok check page number....121

Nothing wrong with those that can do high wattage, i just can't see me doing it more than just to try it.....

Like Bruce and his drill bit, sometimes you just can't teach an old dog new tricks..... Some yes, but not all....

seen some people (used lightly) vaping .18 to .3 ohms above 100 watts... but then I know others running 75 to 100 watts with 1+ ohm builds

Yes that's why it's yucky looking, used the brackets that held the mailbox to the pole. It's all old parts but even buying new L brackets from had it will be less then $10. I mounted it on a piece of wood because I felt it would before convenient then screwing it to the table. I did polish the fly swatter wire where my coil wire goes. (whoever hit it smashed the box all up and broke the pole in a few places. Neighbors said he got out and Looked at his car and then took off. I know I'm bad but he left my box in the road and never came to me, so I hope it did lots of damage to his car).

sounds like the guy was a real idiot!

02-24, #5 I think. if it's over then it's not an entry.
I just HAVE to vent. When I opened ECF there was a question in newbie section what VV/VW mod to get.
Well you know out come the P fan club, even though the original post said he(she) wanted 40 W or higher.
Then came the mechanical club even though the original posted said REGULATED.
Along came the bottom feeder club even though the original poster said they wanted to use TANK & DRIPPERS.

Of course the original poster needs to be called out too because they wanted something they would NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE. Laughs they had only posted 15 times.

I have nothing against any of the mod fun clubs, but come on folks please READ what the actual questions is. By the time I found the thread it was at 5 pages. Sometimes I think we as a vape community can be self-defeating. I just hope the original poster doesn't say 'screw it" and go back to smoking.

Ok, the soapbox is empty now.

yea... I had to stop reading those esp. since I am not allowed to respond to them

Yeah,i have dealt with a few that do the drop ship thing, which a few times worked in my favor, they were located in California, but the items were sent from kentucky, and i would have them in my hand the day after buying.I dont get that lucky very often though haha, and of course that wasn't vaped related items, the one vape related item that i know was a drop ship, really pee'd me off, because it said U.S. seller ships in 1 business day, that took 3 weeks to get to me from China.I cant say too much bad about most of the sellers i have dealt with there, most have been pretty quick, but i have always tried to go through the ones with high ranks too,a few slipped through and thats the ones that have had issues haha.In fact the one that i mentioned not sending the item until 5 days after printing the label is still not here,6 days after the post office recieved it,i can't really blame the seller on that part, now it's on our wonderful postal system haha,it arrived at a sort facility in California last week and has never moved again apparently.I like using ebay, but i think i'm about done with vaped related purchases through them anyway, too much screwing around with my vape mail haha.

yea, since ebay and paypal are now siblings look to see vape sales banned on ebay. I know some have already been shut down its just a matter of time

I have been trying to do that same "backwards" procurement. I have 5 , .50 cal BMG rounds I found in a house I was helping renovate. I have been telling the wife since I have the ammo, I need the rifle to shoot it in. Hasn't worked so far, but I'm still working on it. :D

would really be nice to have one at least where I live a class 3 is an easy thing to get so that opens a whole new toy chest Ha Ha!
good luck RG!

Reading is Fundamental!!

I find going to the New Members forum, sort by Number of Replies, Ascending -- you get the posts with 0 or 1,2 replies. You can start a conservation with the new vaper that helps, and warn them about "shinyitis".

Great place to hang out and pick off some threads that are otherwise ignored.

waters where I can not tread. sure would like to sometimes but ecf considers that "pimping" for customers because of my status as a reg. supplier

This makes me want the Subtank even more!! I am so overstocked with 32g kanthal and I love that you have used yours so well with this...and glad to know that I would be able to as well :)

Has anyone made a negative comment about the Subtank? Ever? It is like a risk free purchase --- you know it's gonna be good!

only negative I've heard is that people want another one but cant afford it yet
