Another way to advertise is in the middle of these contests. You have such a nice attention to what is going on, the desires, needs, and problems of the users. I don't think it would hurt anyone who participates in the contests to have one post a day from the Supplier, "By the way, one day special on this..." or "we just stocked up on this..etc." or even "insert technical or tip info here (sponsered by Supplier)" or even "video on how to not make a video on vape" (where I felt you were too sober to fit in with the other videos) .

nope, cant do it, its against the rules. I cant comingle sales on a contest thread nor can I run a contest on a sales thread :?:

I know that some really enjoy making coils and even find it relaxing and therapeutic. For me it is just another chore to put off until the last minute. I have been known to break out every last vapable tank or dripper until I have not choice...kinda like what I do with my clothes LOL!

But the reward of finally getting down to business and recoiling everything plus even winding a few extra coils for later is pure happiness!! And like a lot of chores (at least for me), once I get going I can get on a roll and do much more than I had planned.

Can't say I find it therapeutic or relaxing like some do, I'm not much of a tinkerer. But.....I do like being able to get exactly what I want... and really like buying kanthal instead of premade coils, much cheaper. Also, not having to worry about running out.

(vape)
NacyR Glad they know what is wrong and that hubby is home.
(vape)

I think Uncle had (vape) a good idea about editing the original thread title.

Ok, now that everyone is wondering what (vape) is. It's my tribute to Bruce's youtube satire on NOT VAPING during a youtube video

I can't believe this is my last entry post. Thanks for the great contest thread...such good reading and lots of laughs and quality content!

When I first heard about the Subtank I figured it wasn't really for me, because I don't sub ohm very often any more...prefer the 1 to 1.7 area. Even when I saw that it came with a 1.2 coil I thought that it was still really made for the sub ohms and the 1.2 would not be it's best vape.

Now, after reading all the amazing reviews of people that love it at every ohm level, I am back on board and looking to get one before too long. I imagine that I'll go in for the 1.2's more so than the lower ohm, but I'll keep an open mind and give everything a fair shot.

they make 1.2 ohm coils for them and each one comes w/1 of each size .5 and 1.2ohm :)

I do the same thing. It's not good. I have a whole bunch of toppers that need attention, including my Magma and my Lemo.

3. Do you DIY your own juice?

Most certainly do, and have for a long time. Yesterday doing spring cleaning and came across a half dozen bottles of my DIY juice from at least a couple years ago. Well I'm brave, grabbed a couple RDA to try them out and see what the "steeping" had done to them.

First of I was amazed on how much flavorings I used to use, they were all far too strong for my taste buds today. Over-flavoring is a common DIY n00b mistake. They did taste like what they were labeled for those whose labels survived, readable. May have to try cutting some in a 3 mL bottle by half with some PG/VG to see how they fare.

One Cinnamon - Menthol (fire & ice was a fad for a while) was bad enough, I had to pull out the wick and coil, and scrub the RDA. Ah, well, the drain needed some cleaning anyway, and is now minty fresh....

I don't enjoy rebuilding either, but like you, I do enjoy the cost savings and the chance to customize my vape to suit me.

I also like knowing that I wont run out. With rebuilding, I never have to worry about running out of prebuilt coils, and not being able to vape! (No B&Ms when you live on an island)!

I'd have to wait for a half price sale...

Tonight is Powerball night!!! It's pretty bad when the thing I look forward to the most is winning the Powerball! (Actually it's not, I look forward to seeing the grandchildren more, but as I look out the window at the more than a foot of snow that has fallen since yesterday afternoon, and see that it shows no sign of stopping, it gives me lots of time to think about winning the Powerball so I can get out of here)! :)

At present, I am getting a huge kick out of building. All I need are some tesla coils and theremin music to go along with my wild hair and eyes...

sorry, yes batteries. Most of my online friends are in the UK and tend to call them cells so I have gotten use to saying cell instead of battery.

lol no biggie. You were talking about the IPV mini that takes I think one 18650 right? what type of batt do you use now? Don't know if you have 18650's ordered or are having to wait... but I've got a couple panasonics I could send you, maybe. Only thing is, I have a very hard time getting out, so may take me awhile to get to the PO. Kinda have to rely on my son. I've got another package that has been a couple weeks, so you may not want to wait. I don't think there are any postal regs on sending batteries as long as they're wrapped up.

Yes it takes the 18650, problem I have had is all my other stuff I use either 18490 or 26650, thank you for the offer, but I do have it planed already to get some on the 3rd, then after that need to replace my 18490's as all of mine are over 2 years old now and just in this last couple weeks decided not to hold a charge for long. But they will get me through til I have the 18650 and that will get me through til I have new 18490s, can't complain tho, 4 cells for 2+ years and just now having issue

Yeah, tonight's is something like 70 million. I actually think that rather than give out one 70 million dollar prize, they should draw 70 1 million dollar prizes. Just think how much that would help 70 people, rather than just one, if anyone even wins at all.

ok good, glad you're getting some soon. Hate to hear of anyone having a new shiny that they can't use!

So much of my vaping experience has felt backwards, and buying a mod just for it's wrap was not the last either. Regarding your procurement, I would recommend the old addage "shoot first, ask later" as particularly apropos :p

Another that I just remembered was when I got my spinner. I ordered a couple of evod tanks a week or two later and loved the pink one. You can probably guess what I did next. I had to go and get a pink spinner!

I have been trying to do that same "backwards" procurement. I have 5 , .50 cal BMG rounds I found in a house I was helping renovate. I have been telling the wife since I have the ammo, I need the rifle to shoot it in. Hasn't worked so far, but I'm still working on it. :D
