vaping takes work. Often asked wife how people vape if not at least a little mechanically inclined. I likely go a little overboard with my vapes but I like my first vape to be as good as my last vape so I rewick mine almost daily. My biggest problem is when I go to vape shows is I end up vaping for months stuff I do not like. Menthol gives me a headache so I walk around with a headache for two or three days. Just finished a chocolate and mint that did that to me. It has been sitting on my shelf for 1 1/2 years waiting on me. I am a fruity kinda guy. LOL

I was using a cheap unicorn bottle that holds 30ml of juice and I squeezed too hard while dripping and the cap popped off sending 30ml of juice all over me. Not that pleasant to say the least. Within a couple days I go with a friend to a vape shop and he just fills his unicorn bottle with newly bought liquid and the same thing happens to him. What are the odds:)

Don't feel bad. Picture it, back in the Bronze Age of vaping (3 years ago, which is like 3 millennia ago in vape development) when Kanger first came out with their Protank (which was one of the first successful bottom fed tanks with replaceable coils) there were thousands across the globe accidentally unscrewing the tops off and ending up with lap fulls of liquid when they just wanted to move it from one battery to another.
That was me. Evod, too.

Haha, there was the time I made 13 bottles of juice and didn't use a sharpie to label them (well, I thought it was. I got to re-identify 13 bottles of new juice, by taste. It took me a while before I didn't have some leftovers like those word things where you have to draw a line between a word and the correct object.

Not at all fun, nope. :)

I have to say, I'm thankful for being adept at labelling things in the kitchen prior to getting into DIY after reading your post!

I make a little label to include the date I made it, flavor, and mg of nicotine therein, as well as any note I deem important enough to include at the time, then I use clear packing tape over the top so that no amount of liquid on the bottle will ruin the label.. lol.

So ive been wondering why my vape has been leaking for a month and half every time i fill it up. this morning i got fed up and took it to my local smoke shop where i bought it and found out that i havent been screwing the coils in straight so that they line up with the seams. the manager unscrewed the same coil and screwed it back in, i came home, closed the airholes gave it 5 minutes, opened and took a couple hits with absolutely no leakage lol. wondering if anyones ever messed up like this when they were a beginner?

"messed up"? I wouldn't call that a mess up at all.
Wait til you set a few things on fire like I have... then we can call it messing up.

PS: don't cut batteries open just because you want to see what's inside. I promise you, it won't end well

At least you haven't tried lighting your vape yet! Hahaha
Back in my 'beginner days', I was using a CE4 clearo on an eGo battery. Once I forgot there was a button, and I just couldn't figure out why my lighter wasn't doing what it was supposed to do..

When I first got a Nemesis mech, I kept forgetting to lock the firing button. Did it so many times I melted the Delrin drip tip in place. It's straight, it spins, it just now has a lip inside the bottom and is pretty much permanent. It's not such a big deal, really, except it's black on a SS rda and I'd rather put it on my black Derringer...
