Hey everyone, I have been lurking the pages of this form for a few weeks. So anyways, already learned alot from this forum, got confused a bit too. But now I'm here to contribute anyway I can.

A month ago I bought two joytech ego c's, after reading many reviews. Since I was quitting smoking, and so was the girl. I wanted to give these ecigs ( now more like personal vaporizer ) a good chance. These starter kits seemed to give me the best shot.

The girl quit almost immediately, I took a few weeks till I stopped.

Ok just a few more things, people say the ego c leaks. Well it kinda does and did for me for a bit. But it was user error. I reuse the tanks, and my thinking was if I store the thing tank side down excess fluid would drain back into the tank. Negative, it would drip down the sides and leak from the seam of the tank and cone, or make it into the mouth piece. I started storing it tilted tank side up, for two weeks now I haven't have one leak. I also got some silicone top caps, which help seal it to the atomizer cone better. And cleaning is easier.

Hope this helps any other starters out.

We both have now added clearomizers. I have a protank mini, I like it, but flavor is giving me some issues. The girl got a t2, she liked it cause the draw was tighter. Once she saw my protank mini she wanted one too. She seems to be having better luck on flavor with hers. Not sure how that makes sense, same juices, same setup. Hers has more flavor. But anyways gona give it more time. I still use the ego c tank setup while I'm out and at work.

Yea same 2.2ohm heads, same juices. It's pretty confusing haha. But I know heads can be different sometimes.

Same batteries, same voltage too (standard joy ego battery )

For me my protank mini has flavor, but it's very light, hit to exhale. Hers I get more initial flavor, and slightly more flavor on the exhale.

My taste buds might be waked right now from quitting smoking, so I'm not giving up on it yet.

Still trying to track down a good flavor pros and cons comparison for tanks, carts, clearomizers, dripping etc. Like a nice chart. straight to the point, what does what

Cause right now my ego c tank gives me great flavor in comparison to the protank mini.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your success.

One battery may be producing more power than the other which will change the flavor. Some flavors are more pronounced at lower power and some at higher power.

If both batteries are fully charged you should get the same flavor vape on both batteries. If not, something is amiss with the battery that produces less warmth and vapor. I would watch that battery like a hawk and quit using it if there are any issues with it getting too warm or not charging as it should.

If you want more control over flavor you might want to try a battery that allows you to adjust the warmth of your vape. A battery with variable watts (VW) is easier for a novice vaper to use as it does all the math for you when you change juice delivery devices=. Variable voltage (VV) is another way to adjust the warmth of a vape but it does not automatically adjust for different juice delivery devices.

Fast Tech has an excellent price on the iTaste VV 3.0 that has a VW feature. The kit also includes some top coil clearomizers that some people prefer to bottom coils like your T2 and Pro Tank. Some people prefer the bottom coils so it's worth trying both. Fast Tech ships from Hong Kong so there is about a 10 day to 2 week wait.

I haven't tried it on my other battery, that would be a quick test. Thanks for the input
