Hi guys,

So i've been out of the loop for a while so im kind of lost as to what is best.

I have been using the puresmoker protege (the old school one) ever since it came out. The electronic switch worked and still works better than the mechanical switch they released later on for the device. The problem though is that the threads for the batt cap have finally worn off and is almost unusable....so finally its time for me to go buy another e-cig.

Its crazy now there are so many diff mods out. When i first started vaping, there where only a handful of mods worth mentioning.

So as i was researching the forums....i came upon the megadolon ecig (this is the one i currently have my eye on). How is it? What else is recommended out there?

Also, i have a big question about atomizers.

3.7v should be paired with LR atomizers and anything more than that with regular atomizers, is that correct?

Im still using regular joye 510 atomz but i find that they dont last very long. The most they last me is a month. Is there anything better right now? Has there been a new cleaning method discovered?

Lastly, i wanted to touch on the e liquids. Right now i use exclusively puresmoker USA made liquids. Are there other vendors out there that offer other high quality juices for more competitive prices?

The most advance piece of equipment is the drip tip i bought at puresmoker lol....its been that long since i havent researched about any of this stuff.

Thanks.

Welcome back!

Hit the Classified and see if you can't find a cap. You'll put a Wanted to Buy (WTB) in the classifieds. Worth a shot to get it running again.

Or, you may be able to mod it with a 510 to 510 adapter from Madvapes (very inexpensive and may fix the issue once you get it threaded on?)

I don't know anything about Megadolon. The ability to dial in the "sweet spot" for any atomizer you want to use comes only with Variable Voltage (VV) units (since the measurements (watts/ohms) from the type of atomizer you are using should correspond with battery voltage for optimum performance). See this thread for more info LINK -> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/71422-atomizer-battery-watts-chart.html).

I think they're terrific and there are several mods available with that feature. NotCigs makes a few models with VV (I own 3 of the Buzz units), there is the ProVari ($$) from Provape and a few others (with some nice technology with great conveniences incorporated that will be available in the next few months such as Digital Ciggz Eclipse model). Check out the info. here on the mods and technology available:

Also, i have a big question about atomizers.

The chart link above should be helpful for this determination. You can use HV attys with higher voltage (5v and over). High drain AW (Li-MN) batteries for mods work great, especially for LR atomizers in mods. A much safer battery technology.

Im still using regular joye 510 atomz but i find that they dont last very long. The most they last me is a month. Is there anything better right now? Has there been a new cleaning method discovered?

Not that I've found. The Ego Tanks are pretty awesome, but not getting much more time out of them so far. Wicking issues seem to follow and the cleaning is the same ol' PIA (to me). When you consider the cost of an atty, a month is a decent deal!

Lastly, i wanted to touch on the e liquids. Right now i use exclusively puresmoker USA made liquids. Are there other vendors out there that offer other high quality juices for more competitive prices?

Loads of them. Search USA Made with the google search. Good quality liquids do cost more, but really aren't we worth it? LOL

The most advance piece of equipment is the drip tip i bought at puresmoker lol....its been that long since i havent researched about any of this stuff.

Technology is changing quickly... many different tank styles (I use an Ego Tank once in a while with an adapter to lengthen the connection so I don't have to buy the Ego batteries), clearomizers, better cartomizers (Maxx Fusion), the Go-Go carto tanks (nice, but all proprietary threading so for now, you have to use their kits/batteries to run) so hang on the forum and read/ask lots of questions and watch the reviews and videos. You'll have lots of opinions and lots of new packages coming the in the mail soon I'd bet. :p

Thanks.

You're welcome!

Happy Vaping!
