Been vaping for 8months but had no clue?? HELP

Hi Im newb in on EFC but Iv been vaping for 8 months now and Loving it.. I had no clue that there was so much more to vaping out there until I I got to you all.. Where I live there isnt alot of vaping people, its funny to cause I thought I was a heavy Vapor or unusual because I vape pretty much Constantly No I dont feel so bad After reading .LOL and Once I started I was hooked even after smoking anolog for 20 yrs.. And I gotta tell you After the first week I was enjoying the rewards of no more inhaler or coughing up junk and When I tried to go back to anologs I couldnt stand the smell the taste... By the time I did research and went through several other types of VPs I had spent around 300.

The tediousness of cleaning and charging my battereis through out the day is becoming to much, I dont mind cleaning my carts but the rest has got to go... Finally I found this great Place through a great Gal at (Blue Mist.. LOVE THEM) half the price O f what I was Spending through HALO and Much Nicer People to.. I have been researching for Days..Iv looked at many places which Have been suggested and know the EGO 510 is highly recomeded.. Alota good info but still a bit confused. So i was hoping i could get a little insight on what i should try. After reading everything Im going to try to stay away from it looking like anolog anymore to help support vp
I have tried VP with attys and didnt much care for them Im not big on the throat hit either really hurt my throat, that was through ZEE CIG I dont know if that matters, but I would like it to be eazy to carry and be a little bit slim I like smooth and lotsa vape Good Batterie Life.. what Im using now for juice is PG80/Vg20..I wanted to do DIY but I have small children and didnt want to take the chance..Any Input is Greatly appreciated..Vicki

The ego-T is very easy to use. I had used it for months. My problem was just that the ego-t atomizers were like 15 dollars and only lasted me a week or two. Some people seem to get months out of them, but I did not. I have since moved on to mods and use boge cartomizers. If you like cartomizers, they can be used with the ego battaries as well.

Welcome to the ECF Vicki! Were glad your here. It has been said that a KGo from Hoosiers, or from Liberty Flights are good inexpensive systems. If you can find a 3.5Ml tank system to set on top with some LR carto's it will make for an all day-hassle free vape. Your going to get plenty of suggestions so check back often!

Hey girl....been there and done that!! Buying the cheapo kits really adds up.....I spent well over $200 doing the same. Finally got some sense and bought an eGO 900......battery lasts all day and I love it!! I use an eGO w clearomizer on it and also every now and then a bud tank. I do on occasion use a reg atty and cartridge.....but only when I'm at home watching tv or something and topping up isn't a problem. I also have an ego 510.....carry it with me in short trips to town and late at night when my 900 is charging. The other day I bought a small clear tank with a lil drip tip on the top.....u have to fill it a syringe. I'm not sure what its called......it fits both batteries, the 510 and the 900. May be called a clear cartomizer? At any rate, that thing is awesome!!! The vape comes easy and the vapor is warm......I love it and on my next supply run I'm going to get several. I think It totally eclipses the bud tank.....and it almost has my w clearomizer beat too!!

The eGo is okay, but there are def better PVs now that are "eGo type" PVs. Check out the E-Power and kGo.
The eGo was great last year because there was nothing else like it, but now I personally dont see any benefit of getting an eGo over something like an E-Power, kGo, or Riva.
The E-power and kGo are both 3.7V PVs, while the eGo is only 3.3-3.4V. 3.7V PVs provide alittle more "oomph" and more importantly handle the lower resistance cartos a lot better than an eGo does. The E-Power and kGo both have really good battery life, and are the same price, if not cheaper, then most vendors sell the eGo for.
I have an E-Power and love it. The main difference between the E-power and kGo/eGos is that the E-power uses non-proprietary batteries, which are removable. E-Power batteries cost $4-5 compared to kGo/eGo/Riva batteries that cost $14-20, and they last longer before they need to be replaced. The batteries are 1050mah and I get on avg a day to a day and a half on one battery. Also everything is replaceable on the E-Power, so its cheaper to maintain. All the parts on an E-Power can be bought seperately, so you dont have to buy a whole new unit everytime you need to replace a battery or a switch fails, like with an eGo/kGo. Sweet-vapes.com has a really good deal for the E-power, and you can get a kit with your choice of cartomizers for only $41.95.
The kGo is also a nice PV, even though it uses proprietary batteries. Tey batteries are 1100mah so they last a long time as well, and most people can get a full day from one battery. Hoosier Ecig Supply, DarkCity Vapor, and Sweet-vapes all sell the kGo for around $43, which is a good deal as well.

I think youd def be really happy with an E-Power or kGo. Their both cheaper than an eGo and personally I think their both def better than an eGo. If you do decide to get an eGo though, just get a regular one and use cartos. The eGo-T or eGo-C tanks suck and can be very finicky and leak. Plus they dull flavor and TH, even when they are working.
If you do get an E-Power or kGo, I recommend trying the 1.7ohm Ressurector cartos. They are designed for 3.7V PVs, like the E-Power and kGo, and they work awesome on both. They will also work on an eGo, but dont run at full potential since the eGo is only 3.3-3.4V. The Ressurectors give a nice warm vape and produce a LOT of vapor, and they hold 2ml of juice so they go a pretty long time between refills. And like someone else mentioned, down the line you could get a Smoktech 3.5ml tank and youd be able to go even longer between refills. The Smoktech tanks are dual coil tanks, but I think dual coils suck at lower voltages, so instead I use the Ressurectors and they work a LOT better.
Heres whay they look like:
I like the 3.5ml tanks bc their big enough that I can fill them in the morning and vape all day without needing a refill, yet their still small enough that I can carry my E-power in my pocket with the tank on it.
Between the long battery life of an E-power or kGo, and a 3.5ml tank, you can vape all day completely maintanence free.

We've all been there. I don't think you can do much better for the money right now than an eGo-C kit. You will have to clean and refill the tanks, but depending on how much you vape, you'll probably only need a couple a day. Unlike with cartos, you will use ALL the liquid, and they're much easier to clean.

A good eGo battery will likely last most (if not all) day. I keep a bunch (literally 50 or so) tanks in rotation so I can clean them in bulk and fill them in bulk, so that I don't have to deal with them every day.

I don't think you can really go terribly wrong with any of the eGo, KGO, Janty, or any of those (which are all very similar), but I have had good luck with the eGo-C in particular. I think you're looking around $80 for two batteries, two housings, five atties and five tanks at most places.

Best of luck, and don't give up! There's better out there when you're ready!

I would go with the kGo if you are looking for a good vape without spending the type of money that a VV mod would run you ($100+). I love the VV mod that I got and the batteries last me around 3 days between charges (although I don't vape all day long) and a topped off carto lasts me around 2 days. The Infinity Pro is pretty slim too, but again its not as cheap as a kGo.

If you really want to go for ease of use, get yourself a tank (not the 510 or eGo tanks) but a large tank that you put a cartomizer into. You can fill those up pretty easily and vape for a while without having to fill it up and it will work just fine on a kGo or Riva.

Too address the throat hit concern, you may need to adjust your nicotine level or you PG/VG ratio. PG gives a bigger TH so if you switched over to say 50/50 that will lessen the TH. Nicotine also determines TH so you may need to lower that a bit. But some combination of these 2 should do it and help you find that sweet spot of nicfix and TH.

Just ran into a new Problem. My Ejuice Supplier is closed for family reasons and dont know when they open back up. Dont know where Im gonna find good Juice so inexpensively. I am still trying out there samplers but I get 50 ML fo 25. with shipping and they rock so far..Any suggestions??

They have tested them, the output on an ego is 3.3V to 3.4V. The output from a kgo or an e-power is consistently higher. Coming off the charger the ego is indeed at 3.7V, which falls away almost immediately to its normal range. The Kgo comes off the charger at 4.2V. The simple truth is, if you want an Ego style battery at this point you are better off not buying an ego and going with one of the better performing clones.

If your happy spending that then that's all that matters, but personally I'd much rather spend that extra $40 on a 180ml bottle of juice from BlueMist and a pack of Ressurector cartos from CCV.

Vaping, for me anyway is sort of turning into a hobby as well as a analog replacement. I've spent some money on different things, started out with a Blu OMG no! haha I bought a kGo from NW Vapors(great cust serv btw) then I bought an eGo T, then an eGo C upgrade kit and now I have a Lavatube on the way! ChaChing! oh well, to be honest I've spent less on all of that than I spent on analogs in one month.
