Hi,
I'm new here, and came to get some advice. I have been vaping for over a year, but still confused by so many things. I started out with a simple Ego, then started using Vision Spinners. Just recently started using one of the Ego V Mega V3. But I don't know which cartos I should be using with it. The ones I bought just keep clogging up in a matter of hours, and I have to throw them away. I don't know if I should be using single coil, or dual coil, or standard or low resistance, or which ohm.

Is there somewhere I can find this info? On the sites that I purchase batteries, it never indicates what size and kind of cartos to use for them. I am presuming that I bought the wrong ones, or they would not go bad in a matter of a couple of hours, right?

If you're not going the mech mod/big battery route, I HIGHLY recommend trying out an iClear30s tank. Wonderful flavor & vape production. Heads are not rebuildable, but they can be replaced. I have a coworker who swears by them as well, and he's on 6 weeks without changing the head yet...

As far as cartos go... unless you are using a cartotank, I wouldn't use them (unless I'm trying new flavor combinations). Boge & Smoktech cartos are by far the most popular.

**Edit: iClear30s are great on mech mods as well. I hope it didn't sound like they are only good for ego-style batteries!

Welcome molly!! The Ego V Mega V3 is the battery. Can you take a picture of the thing you're calling a carto? Or tell us where you bought it from so we can see what it really is?

With that battery you can use almost anything for your juice. When you say a matter of hours with a carto, is that like 24 hours? I have some juices that I have to change the carto every day. The darker, sweeter, thicker juices do tend to clog cartos or anything quicker than light, thinner juices.

Your battery is still "ego sized"......I would get some EVOD clearomizers or a Protank II.

The iclear 30 will be very large on top of an ego batt IMHO, then you will have to use a beauty ring/tank support to make it look nice.

I've been using T3S's and I like them a lot, with replaceable coils.

I would stick w/SINGLE COILS on an ego type batt. Dual coils really drain your battery very very fast.

If your battery is VV (variable voltage, i.e. you can dial in the voltage higher or lower) it won't matter if you use standard or low resistance. Low resistance will give you a hotter, more crackling vape on the lowest battery setting. You can use standard resistance clearomizers and just turn your battery up.
