I Joined this forum a few years ago and bought a 510 and attempted to quit analogs (failed miserably). I couldn't get it to produce vapor or throat hit. I thought it tasted horrible, it leaked everywhere, I eventually gave up with it after only a few weeks. I'm pretty sure I got a kit with 2 bad atty's now that I think about it. Then a few months ago while walking through the mall there was a kiosk selling Totally Wicked Tornado-T kits. I remembered the brand from when I was shopping around for 510's a few years ago. I bought one because I knew that the Tornado was an ego variant and from what I remembered those were supposed to be good. I tried to quit analogs again using the Tornado-T and while I liked the convenience of the "tank system" I hated the vapor production and lack of taste that it produced. I again gave up on e-cigs all together and went back to analogs. Then a few weeks ago I was reading around on the forums and saw that you could put 510 atty's on ego batteries and from what I had read it seemed as tho the 510's had become a lot more advanced (cartomizers, LR atty's, ext.) so I decided I would order 1 of all the popular cartomizers/clearomizers/and atty's and see if I had any luck with them. I am pleased to say that I haven't had an analog in 2 weeks and have no desire to go back. I really like the Boge 2.0 and the 1.7 Resurrector cartomizers. After I realized how much I like vaping I went ahead and ordered the new Provari Mini and all the goodies to go with it along with some higher resistance cartomizers. I plan on using that while I'm at home and ego batteries while on the go with my low resistance cartomizers. I also plan on carrying a 510 battery with me in case I go into a bar/restaurant or for times I am traveling through airports because they are smaller and attract less attention. So here come all the questions: I want to order new ego batteries but I am not sure what ones to get. Is there any difference between the batteries for the Ego, Ego-T, Ego-C? If so which one is better? I want a battery that has the 5 click lock on it (the main reason I want to get rid of the Ego-T batteries I have now is because they don't lock and tend to go off in my pocket all the time). If there is a good quality battery that is a higher voltage than the standard Ego battery? I was reading about the Riva battery and that it is supposed to be a higher voltage. Is this true? Are they any good? Also I couldn't find them in stock anywhere. I don't want the battery I go with to be any larger than my standard 650mah Ego-T batteries (they seem to be a good balance between battery life and size). I also want to get some new 510 batteries for those nights at the bars and traveling through airports. How much larger are the 510XL batteries compared to the regular 510's? I don't want my e-cig to be much larger than a 100's cigarette after screwing on a Boge 2.0 while using the 510 batteries. Also when vaping my e-cig tends to be way to harsh at times and just right at others (even using the same carto with the same liquid in it). What would cause it to fluctuate like that? Also I ordered the adapter for a 801 with my Provari Mini along with a couple 801 atty's because I read somewhere that the 801 tends to be smoother and has more flavor which is nice at times (long vaping sessions in front of the t.v. in the evenings for example). Is this true? Would there be any advantage to getting the adapters for any other models such as kr808, 901, ext? I don't want to use those platforms if I don't have to but is there any real advantage to any of the other models out there like smother hit, better flavor and so on? And my last question is what exactly is a bottom feeder and what are the advantages to those?
