Benefits of using wire mesh?

Been looking into it for a while, tried rayon/cotton/silica already and am ordinarily a cotton user atm, but I have to admit that the wire mesh has had me intrigued for a while. I was wondering what the benefits of wire mesh are? Can it be cleaned/used again? or is it much like cotton where you just throw it out. Lifetime of mesh wick compared to cotton wires, and can mesh wires be used in the typica 3/4 post rda's or are they mainly just for genesis atomizers?

Been wondering this myself! I think you can use wire mesh, wrap it around cotton (much like in a Genesis) in a "normal" build. But not exactly sure. I would imagine, depending on the amount of gunk and/or length of time between cleaning that you "could" clean it and re-use, but may be easier to just toss it and use another piece. But again, this is all conjecture with no basis of real life experience!

Did you try posting these questions in the Genesis sub-forum? They might be able to explain the possibility of any crossover!!

it basically turns into a solid wick that can last a very long time. dryburn and go again.
I tried using mesh for a while and liked it tastewise; used it in a genny and in a protank.

well, im putting in an order of some genny atomizers to try and ordering some of the wire mesh to try out, ill try it out in the gennys and my traditional RDA's. It seems like you could use it in normal RDA's maybe if u put a base of cotton underneath

I'm interested too. Can only find videos of the genesis style tanks and one two post bottom feed atty in English. I want to know if it can be built horizontal on a three post atty or at least one bigger than the graal. I'm trying to find a solution to building coils every 2 days cause of gunky burntness and the side affects that causes me.
