How cool is that? First my experience with horses was summer camp. I got freaked out when the horse decided he wanted to run. I thought I was going to loose my teeth and didn't realize how bouncy it was. It looks easier than it is.

I was born into it. I didn't know any different. Haha. I've been thrown off more times than I can count and got back on. It just came natural for me though I guess. I've never been afraid of horses and I've ridden some tough ones.

I wouldn't want to do the show circuit now though. I do a lot of charity work and help children with Down's syndrome, CP, etc ride horses but that's rewarding for me. The show circuit is far too political and just a bunch of crap for me to ever do it again.

Most of my life other than vape stuff is dog stuff. I have a houseful because I have done Maltese rescue for years and when I get the ones that no one else wants to adopt, they stay. Lots of love. Lots of vet bills (two diabetic, one with congestive heart failure, one with bladder issues and bad thyroid, most of them elderly). Lots of grooming bills--I am all thumbs and my poor babies have to hide under things if I groom them. Any "fun" money left over goes to my Kindle.

I used to spend money on cameras. I loved my Canon Powershots with image stabilization. I went thru 3 in that series with the large zooms. I had a few pocket sized ones too. My one trip down the DSLR path included a few extra lenses. Now I'm super happy just using my iPhone because it really does take great pictures.

I have a nice collection of watches. I could go a few weeks and not wear the same one twice.

Right now I'm spending a bit of money on my little condo. I lucked into a 3 bedroom short sale and paid 1/2 of what the original owners bought it for. Now my house payment and HOA is about what I paid for rent so I am very lucky to have a home of my own. My stairway wall is my big project right now. I'm adding AirStone to it. It looks so neat and helps block the sound of my downstairs neighbors. Pic!

I went through a few years collecting Coach purses. Stock symbol COH. I never carried a purse until I turned 43! Guess I was making up for lost time?? I love their bags because I know they stand behind them. If there is a problem with one, I take it to the Coach store. They send it to Jacksonville to be repaired. If they weren't able to repair it they would send a voucher for the original MSRP so I could by a new one. They stand behind their products. I haven't bought one for a while because I haven't seen any styles I love.

Just started playing "hippy golf" myself the last year or so! The more I play, the better I like it over chasing the little white balls :D

I'm no hippie!! At least you didn't call it frolf! Remember we play with discs not frisbees! I have been playing for 10 years now. Love every minute. Similar to golf in the sense a bad day on the course is better than your best day at work. Glad you found it!

No hippie here either...but that's what my golfin buddies call it. Lol! They think I've spent too much time in Cali...playing hippie golf and running around blowing strange vapor clouds outta light saber lookin things...:D

This is my regular course...it's only about 6 miles from the house! Awesome place to play!

Before my son was born three years ago, I spent money like it was growing on trees and I owned an orchard.
I'd change cars every 12 months or so, a new motorcycle when something caught my eye, trips to Vegas, trips to the Bahamas, guns, etc, etc, etc.

Now that I'm a father with a son not old enough to ride on the back, I don't even own a motorcycle. I will again someday, just not today.

Now that my wife has made me wake up and realize that someday we want to retire(and afford college), I max out my 401k, my sons 529 plan, and try to put as much as possible in savings. We're also trying to sell a condo and buy a house...so a lot of extra money is going into a separate account for a down payment.

I've got more cars that I can drive at once, more guns than I can shoot at once, and more vape gear than I can use at once...so I'm making a conscience effort to make my hobby "saving money". KY_Rob isn't helping me with this...he just got some goodies in, and I need to pay him for my share, lol(enabler)!

Point being, hobbies change...and my #1 hobby right now is my son and my families future. If not for my son, and wanting to live long enough to see him grow up, I'd probably still be smoking.

Nursing shoes. I'm like the Imelda Marcos of nursing shoes. I wish it was for high heels, but I can't wear them like I used to. I try my daughter's on and look like a new-born colt trying to walk around.
Also books. I love to read.
Started quilting a few years ago and LOVE buying fabric for those "future" quilts I will make (yeah, right). :)
Having curly, unruly hair keeps me on the quest for constantly buying hair products to tame the mane.

little birdhouse in your soul
I personally have far too many hobbies and what I spend my money on, irresponsibly I might add changes from time to time based off of what I feeling at that time. It could be video games, house stuff or projects, guns/ammo, stuff for my 69 Camaro to list a few but what I really spend the most money on is music equipment.

I have a whole room in my house dedicated to musical instruments and other musical gear. I have 3 drum sets, 3 acoustic guitars an electric guitar, a bass guitar, 2 PA systems with speakers, 5-6 microphones, a computer with recording equipment a bunch of effects pedals and everything else. I was just in Guitar Center looking for a looping pedal. I don't need one but I will likely buy it.

I cannot walk into a music store without walking out with something.
