I'm into 60's fashion and 60's music.....groovy! I'm also a photographer.
Cool- I'm from the 60s, lol!
I have 3 horses, chickens, collect model horses (and a lot of dust), paint, make jewelry. Funny, when I went into our B and M store today, I told the owner I wasn't looking to take up a whole new hobby, I had just wanted to quit smoking! Now I seem to collect e-juice, it's like candy and I can't get enough of it- so maybe I'll end up making my own...and another hobby will be born.

Hmm, I did not see anyone else with my hobby, speak up if you are a fellow equestrian.

I'm so happy to see a fellow horse lover! I am President of Alaska's only 501(c)3 non-profit equine rescue in the state. I also have an APHA/AQHA coming two year old gelding that I call Shane. He was orphaned at birth (thank God I found a surrogate)...:) Bramble After IV.jpg I've attached a picture (wasn't sure if it was going to let me) of a rescue horse I rehabbed. She was starving and tied to a tree...horses are my love just above vaping...LOL!

Nice to "meet" you! What is horsekeeping like in the midwest? Sounds like you have good trails nearby? I live in the very heart of horse country for Northern California. I live close to the Western State's Trail that runs from Squaw Valley all the way to Sacramento. The Tevis Cup is held on that trail every year ending in the town of Auburn where I work. Many of the trails my friends and I ride on connect with that trail system. To some folks, this area is considered "The Endurance Captial of the World" due to the 100 mile Tevis and the 100 mile Western State's run that are held here annually. People come from all over the world to compete in both.

FotoFlexer_Ricky V.jpg Northern California is gorgeous! Probably far different than having horses in Alaska...LOL...another picture of a rescue horse that I adopted. His name is Ricky...one of my favorites...<3

Any resistance from others in your neck of the woods when you OC? im more of a CC guy myself but I find it interesting to here how people perceive OC in other areas of the country.

Honestly I have never had any flack or anyone even bring it up in a conversation, I have noticed that I seem to be avoided not because I OC but my guess would be I look like an off duty LEO.... Which is in no way my intentions, I just love the right and feel it helps the cause for people to see it openly and to never see it used in a harmful way. The last time I OCed was this past weekend and me and my wife went on a ghost walk downtown, We finished and were walking back to the car and a couple guys walked up behind my wife and one kinda started to hug her and she turned and was kinda scared by how it happened. When I turned both of them looked down at my hip then apologised to my wife and told us to have a good night... When we got in the car my wife told me when it first happened the only thing that she thought of was wait till they see the hip... it's not there to gain respect or scare anyone, It's there to prevent what could of happened. I have never actually needed it but if I did I would have it, I can take an ... whoopin like any other man and I have never found a reason to be "That Guy" but in NC depending on where you are at some people walk the other way and some people just give you the nod.

I have a few, golf, fishing, guns, competitive shooting (long distance and pistol steel), cars, and cigars (let me explain) all very expensive. Ugh.

I started vaping to quit dipping, I still smoke cigars (one to three a week), and will probably never quit cigars. I smoke them because I like the taste of them, not for a nic fix, but because I really do enjoy them.

I saw a few guys talking about oc/cc earlier in this thread, here in Indiana alot of us OC, and usually you just get the nod. Sometimes a police officer will say something if they're in a ....ty mood, but other than that no problems!

Most people that aren't into guns don't even notice it.

For me, vaping is the #1 hobby now. I like to build jigs, stands, anything that help me do vaping stuff.

I also build models, most especially sailing ships. Some R/C boats and airplanes. I love to build model R/C airplanes, but am still scared to fly them. Additionally, I have collections of guns and old/antique office equipment.

Basically, I like to collect and refurbish old things like my jukebox, shuffleboard (bowling) machine, cash register, and edison phonograph (wax cylinder).

And, collect and watch movies on my home theater system.
