Best 100% hands free option. I will be using a manual almost all the time with one exception.

I think I know what will be my desk bound solution. I need to figure out my bicycle solution. This is not short rides but up to 12 hours each way on solo trips.

I will be holding this in my mouth not just activating it with one hand. I grabbed some cig a likes that I will not longer be using so see how they would work.

The Blu was comfortable enough but the battery life is not going to cut it. I am willing to carry 4 or 5 batteries in my pocket as well as 4 or 5 cartomizers.

The V2's has two marks against it for this application. With bunch of the longest batteries in my pocket it will not be quite enough but I will suffer. The problems are with the longest battery it is not too heavy but too front heavy, if the center of gravity was closer to the mouth it might work. I think maybe with the longest cartomizer I can get I could hold the carto deep in my mouth and act as a counter balance. The cartomizer is hard on the V2 and I think would be uncomfortable. Again this can be fixed but I don't think the V2 is the ideal solution tough I think I can make the V2 work.

I am not away from home much and for long but when I do get out on the bike it is the exception and I can be gone 2 days on a bicycle.

I think what I want is the best battery life possible in short package that is not too heavy, automatic battery, and a long soft cartomizer.

This would double as my away from home for any reason product.

Any suggestions?

I think I found what I am looking for.

SD 510 Keyring Mod

Going to ask about this.

I've owned 1 for quite awhile and use it for concerts. Use an XL carto on it. Realize cuz they're auto they are more prone to damage from juice. With carto+ drip tip about 4 1/4" long. Understand it's only 300 mah.
Or you could buy the 600 mah SD 510 Maxi Keyring.
SD Key Ring SD vs Maxi Keyring
- Height: 4.3 cm -> 6.5 cm
- Width: 1.4 inches -> 1.4 cm
- Weight: 21 g -> 28 g
- Capacity: 300 mAh -> 600 mAh

Thanks,

I will not dare use a drip tip, I will be on a bicycle and need to have the weight in as close as possible. I will be using no hands as they will be on the bicycle handlebars. I think I will probably better off with a pocket full of 300 mah than some 600 mah. I think the added weight would not be too good when gripping it with only my lips on a bicycle.

Since you have one could you hold that 600 mAh one in your mouth without touching it with your hands 15 minutes at a time?

I only own the 300 mah and it's less than an ounce and I couldn't see having it in my mouth for 15 mins. You may want to look at a 510 PCC setup.

Talking about 12 hour trips each way. I was thinking more like 6 batteries already charged in the pocket and fully hands free operation. Charge the 6 batteries at a the far end of the trip then return. I am not sure how much a PCC would help but it might.

I think more charged batteries would be less bulky than a PCC.
