Just a glorified flashlight mod with a resistor added, sometimes 5V mostly not. vaping voltages totally dependent on battery type, condition, state of charge (each drag is basically lowering the volts), age and depending on the ohms of the atty you'll seldom be at the same volts twice.

And your point is what??? All fixed voltage PV's will suffer from the same issues. Of the 5 volt PV's, the GLV2 is still one of the best. And in comparison to any 3.7 volt PV, it is a siginficant upgrade. It won't compare to a good variable volt such as the Darwin but then, it's not ment to.

Regulated 5V mods (which are the only ones worth mentioning or considering) suffer from none of the issues I mentioned.

And as far as actual and consistent 5V vaping performance even this inexpensive mod far surpasses your kinda, maybe, sometimes, for the first hour 5V GLV.

I'm no EE but I know what vapes well and is well made and in the 5 volt arena, the GLV2 is one of the better ones as attested to by the hundreds of satisfied customers. If a PV has a boost circuit it should provide a steady power level as the battery drains, if that what you are inferring. As I mentioned earlier, I believe a good variable volt PV is a better option than any fixed volt PV whether is has a boost or regulated circuit or not.
