The best is the one you like most. Janty atomizers, if you get a good one, are excellent. BE112 atomizers from BestEcig are also very good. Jaxx from JuicyLiquids had some really nice ones with a rubber mouthpiece. Simple answer; there is no simple answer.

Breakfastchef--I would totally agree for an 801 IMO the BEST BE112 is one great "801" type atomizer. Note that the draw is lighter though then the RN4072 --some like this lighter draw and some like the harder draw of the RN4072--but that is a function of preference---Sun

I have noticed my BE112 had TONS of primer, took hours to vape it off. My problem with the BE112 is my regular 801 carts do not go far enough down to hit the bridge and we burned a few out before noticing they weren't wicking correctly. We remedied this by pulling the white cartridge away from the black mouthpiece and supergluing the white part back to the mouthpiece about 1/4" out of position of what it had been previously. it wicks fine now. Other than that I go to eastmall. I didn't have to make any adjustments with those atomizers. They use a bit less primer, but be carefull, as they are breaking through the primer at first they make popping sounds, which scared me to death the first time. One of them actually flashed at me, but it worked find (of course I took it and put it away a bit, I was scared to use it, but I'm using it now and it works great). I wonder if the batch I got from bestecig was a different batch, maybe a messed up one. Once we figured it out (last night) we remedied the problem...but sad that we had to mess 2 up trying to figure it out.

I tried 801 atomizers from bestecig, njoy, and eastmall and I have to say my favorite is the BE112 from bestecig. Very very easy light draw and it doesn't give the burnt taste as often as the other ones. One thing I did notice tho, BE112 leaks really easy if you overfill compared to the other two. My guess is because it flows easier than the other ones thus the easier draw.

I like the new "taller bridge" atomizers from HeavenGifts.

If you like the tall bridge, I have two you can buy, I didn't think much of them. I could barely get any vapor from them, and the bridge is so high it pushes the wick up into the cart so far it doesn't even come close to drying it out before you get that "burned" taste. I had to keep topping off the carts all the time. They are the ones with the soft tips, right? I got mine from MyVaporStore, have just written to them with my complaint, but haven't heard anything back. With the stick I won't even be needing 801 batteries and I have plenty of carts, so I don't know what I would be trading in for. Most places hate to make a refund, but we'll see what happens. I do Love the soft tip!

Got an answer. He told me noboby else complained about the high bridge, some people like them.
As far as the oily stuff all over them, it will burn off.
GOD with this information I could go a long way!

He did write back, and did take me a little more seriously, after I pulled his short hairs a little, but I declined to ship them back $$$$ Will just put them away for emergency use and try to work with them. Any help would be appreciated, he had no idea.

I really don't like the tall bridges either for exactly the same reasons you mentioned.

With the tall bridges, I can vape maybe a dozen (at most) good hits before tasting the nasty acrid burnt taste of a dry atomizer. I got decent performance when I switched out the cartridge filling with tea filter paper, but even then the good hits didn't last very long. With the BE112's I get good consistent taste when using the cartridge for an hour with constant (moderate) vaping. I've given up on every other seller of atomizers (I too bought some from MyVaporStore -- a store I personally really like, but tall bridge atomizers = blech), and from now on will buy atomizers exclusively from bestecig.com.

The atomizer from NJoy also has a short bridge, and I like that one as well.

edit: Just an off topic side note, but I hate bestecig's batteries. I buy only atomizers from them.

edit2: They've got an easy draw, so I'd guess they'd be the newer 4 hole atomizers... Last time I checked I only saw one hole, though. I'll double check when I get home.

You say the ones from bestecig are NOT the high ones? Cause I just ordered 10 of them. Hope I am reading that right!
