I've been off the cigs and vaping for about a year now. I really enjoy the vape on my nautiluses but would like to get away from being dependent on buying stock coils. Got a lemo 1 awhile back and it's ok , but has some things I don't care for, finicky air flow, bottom fill plug. What would you all recommend for vaping in the 1.5 to 1.8 range, leak free, 4 to 5 mil capacity range. Thanks for any heip.

Kayfun is the rock solid RTA. Kayfun Lite Plus V2 is a little shorter than the 3.1, but the KF2 has a bottom fill hole that really needs to be filled from a needle tipped bottle. The side fill hole on the 3.1 perfectly fits the small tipped juice bottles for a quick, leak free fill. Everyone should have a couple of the both of them. 4.5ml capacity.

I don't have one yet, but the Kayfun V5 is just out and has all the features I want. It has an airflow control ring, something that no other Kayfun has. 5ml capacity.

I have to say that after I enlarged the feed holes on the original subtank mini rba, she's a winner. But hands down the best mtl stock tank for me is the Kayfun 5. Ymmv.
You mean the original like the one with the bottom channels? Ya, those needed a bit of modification. The V2 with the side juice holes works great out of the box though.

Good to know. I have a couple of bases and new decks and bell caps on order from ft. Just waiting for delivery. Hope the plastic caps work ok??

Well, the first tank I thought of when I read your title was the Lemo. Then I saw that you already have one that you're less than impressed with. I understand your frustration with the finicky AFC on the Lemo but have you tried the cure for it? A simple o-ring slid over the AFC stud and pushed against the adjuster keeps mine right where I want it. As for the bottom fill... Is there really a topfill that doesn't require you to be a contortionist or just very lucky to refill without dumping juice everywhere? Leak free? Good luck with that. I'm very happy with the "leak containment system" in the Lemo. The occasional drop of juice on the AFC stud stays inside instead going to the 510 pin on your battery/mod.

Hey, I'm not about dissing anyone elses recommendation. There may actually be a great tank out there somewhere. Just check out the dedicated threads on the suggestions for all the ifs, and or buts before you jump.

Back to the original post. The first question is whether you like mouth to lung or direct lung inhale. Mouth to lung is the way most of us smoked cigarettes. It's compatible with a slow draw into the mouth, then an inhale to the lungs.

Most cloud tanks are like breathing through a straw. Your need this only if you are a DTL vaper. The rest of us who are trying to emulate the draw of a cigarette like an easy draw, but one that allows a slow pull like a cig filter.

I've tried tanks with adjustable air flow and some are better than others. Few were conducive with my style of MTL vaping. Most of the time I don't even inhale. I just draw into the mouth, hold it, and then exhale through the mouth or nose.

It's all about preferences. Personally, I think that PG and VG fog is a mild irritant to the lungs and may not over time be good for the airways. I'm not the only one who believes that.

Love it!

I like a tank with a fill port. It does usually require a screwdriver to remove, but there are the key chain screwdrivers for that. We all need at least one of those in our vehicles where we keep the backup juice for out and about.

The problem with top fill is leakage while filling. Unless there's an easy way to seal the air ports with a finger or close them off with an air flow ring valve, top fill can be a pain.

If the Kayfun 5 is anything like the mini v3 (which I think it is), top filling is a breeze. You just turn the bottom and close the juice control. Then you just remove the top and fill it. I think the mini v3 is perfection because I prefer a smaller tank. If I wanted a larger tank, I would definitely be looking into the V5

Yes, it is like a "big brother" to the Kayfun Mini v3. I have both and build is very easy (even for this newbie), top filling on both is very convenient, and the flavor on both is very good. I will say that the mini has slightly better flavor because of the reduced chamber and more restricted/condensed air flow, but both perform very well for MTL.

I just got my new Aromamizer Supreme Lite RDTA and it is the best atomizer i've ever used. My last one was also a Steamcave Aromamizer RDTA but it used a rubber sleeve to adjust the air resistance. It did not have a leaking problem but a tiny bit of juice always finds its way down to the air holes and the rubber sleeve begins to slip around. The Lite uses a sliding method of setting the air resistance and it is nice and tight and does not slip this way or that. Everything about it is great.

As a mouth to lung vaper for the last 2 1/2 years, all I use anymore is the good ol' Kayfun Lite-Plus V2.

I stopped spending more money on the expensive authentic SvoëMesto version, and now just buy the much cheaper EHPro clones of the Kayfun Lite-Plus V2.

The only downside to the these Kayfuns is the very small fill screw on the bottom of the base ... but I can live with it.

Nobody mentioned the avocado 24 so I will. Top fill. Just pull the cap off and swing out the hinge and fill it up.

Comes with a couple ceramic blocks so you can do single coil. Close off the afc, or use the smaller hole option and it will be a tight draw. Has a huge velocity deck so you can build whatever and run it wide wide open dual coil. You can even drip with it. Just pop off the top and wick it up. Very tiny.

That's probably the best all around rta. But once again has the coolest filling system. Takes 3 seconds.

Does.not leak unless you hold it upside down and even then it will be some time before it actually starts to leak.
