To be honest my best preventative maintenance is to do nothing at all. I've been doing this for 6 months and in that time only one atomizer has burned out and that was due to a faulty passthrough that got stuck on. I tried soaking some in cola one time and another time I tried rubbing alcohol just to see if it made any difference and it didn't as far as I could tell. The one thing I do every week or so is using my Screwdriver I hold the button down for 30 seconds or so with no cartridge and let it burn. Seems to burn off any residue on the coil. The manual 510 can do the same thing.

That's a good question. I wish I had a good answer for you. I think we are all still too new at this to be sure. What I am doing is an alcohol soak over night. Then a good blow out, prime, and test. I think over time we will get a better idea of what really works.

Forgot to add the fact that I really don't do anything at all on a regular schedule.
