I used my ego c upgrade with a piece o .... smoktech LR atty now it's all ....ed up and doesn't produce as thick of vapor as it used to. So I'm in the market for a new battery. I wish I could get some nice ... $200 mod like an AR with some crazy long lasting battery and high quality rba. But I'm a poor college kid who's broke as ..... I want the battery to have variable voltage at least a 1000 mah and be able to vape it while its charging(is that what passthrough means?) I can get an ego c twist for like 18 bucks free shipping on eBay with a tank. Or just replace what I got for around 30 or get a vision spinner for 25 free shipping. I wish I could graduate from egos and find a mod with variable wattage for under 40 but I don't think that'd be possible. Any other pen style batteries I'm missing that are better deals than what I just showed? A 650 that's adjustable and can be vaped while charging would be good if I can find one for under 20.

Other than ego style batteries in that price range I would suggest itaste vv v3.0. It's passthrough, variable voltage, variable wattage and has the same features found on larger mods with the ego style size. It's the best option in my opinion for that in between ego and mod size.

I can think of a couple of tube / box style "mods" that can be grabbed for under $40 but they need batteries and a charger which will almost double the price.

Haha, glad we helped as you made up your mind. I can also say that I am about to begin working in a vape shop again that sells smoktech, spinners, Kanger and genuine joyetech ego style batteries. The owner told me he has had at least one of every type come back in for repairs due to the charger or internal wiring. He has been selling the vv v3 for about 6 months and said he has never had one come back.

That is good. :)

I had one (of three) Spinner go down prematurely. 2 months for $23 (equivalent)... not the worst e-cig purchase, I guess.

You really need to investigate medium price mods with replaceable batteries. The 18650 IMR batteries with 2000mah capacity or greater will give you much longer vape times at a cost of about $12 per battery. You can buy a VV/VW mod starting around $50 to $75 that will outlast the batteries you purchase initially. After around 300 charges, you just buy a couple more $12 batteries and continue on.

There's nothing wrong with the eGo Spinner types, but you are throwing away and repurchasing the electronics when the built in battery dies. Why not just replace a $12 battery? You just have to get past the initial cost of the mod to get to that point.

I like the Sigelei Zmax. It's all stainless steel that reduces dings and scratches. It will use 4 sizes of batteries in single or stacked mode. It about $74 retail and as low as $50 on sale.

Fasttech is in China, but lots of folks buy directly from them at $47.97
$47.97 Authentic Sigelei Zmax V5 Telescopic Variable Volt/Watt Mod - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Shop around and find one on sale.

I got my mvp 2 kit on eBay from (vapingtown2013) for 40 bucks. Some websites have had the same price as well lately!
