I want to try a new dual build for my Fogger v4 with uneven coils and possibly different wick materials. My goal is to have a coil/wick assembly for the best possible flavor on one side and another to boost the vapor volume. I'm aware that it's quite possibly that the idea is self defeating but nevertheless I'm gonna try.

What do you consider the best coil+wick combination for flavor; high/low resistance micro, standard or macro? What about placement, air flow and heat? What wick; cotton, silica, mesh, mesh sleeved silica? Thick, thin?

Then same options for steam?

Thanks for any input.

Only one answer, dual 1.5 ohm vertical 5/64" diameter coils wrapped in de-gummed Hemp fiber (outside coils, not inside), this produces great clouds with the best taste possible

Trying that as soon as I finish the present load. Obliged. Just 1 q. 1.5 total or each?

I'm running 2 fairly small diameter coils netting 0.8 0hm with cotton and I think this is the best setup for the Fv4 I've found, it's better than any lower ohm builds I've done in the flavor dept, it's better than my r91 's that's for sure, I'm going to wrap up another Fv4 that arrived today at 1.4ohm 32ga for a provari and see how big the difference is. I'll lyk tonight.

Each, he's netting 0.7 ish ohm...

Got any pics of that build with the vertical coils? I thought I'd see it within a couple days but haven't yet.
How far up off the air hole are your coils, do you have any wick over the channels?

for flavor twisted wire seems the best to me, in your desired ohmage. Twissted 28g works best for me.

clouds i just go with 22g wire and lots of extra airflow holes, lately 22g parallel coils, only do this with with proper knowledge of battery safety, and Vtc 4 or 5's sony batteries. And a ohm meter you trust.

You can do some good clouds with high ohm high wattage. Been experimenting on the dna30. Nothing to suggest yet there tho
