My main vape is a Silver Bullet at 3.7 volts with a Vaporescence Liquinator 5.5ml tank. I've tried a couple cartos with mixed results. The preslotted SR and LR from Vaporescense, prepunched LR from Parkes vaping, and smok Tech 1.7 ohm. Whatever Vaporescense and Parkes sent me were alright but hit or miss on how long they'd last. One lasted 3 weeks (Parkes) but others frmo them only lasted a few days. One from Vaporescense lasted a week, an other only lasted less than a day before getting plugged and gurgling and couldn't clear it. That was a SR carto I was trying and didn't terribly mind the less vapor and whatnot but thought I might get more life out of it, but not the case. Just tried a 1.7 ohm Smok Tech tonight that I unwrapped and slotted and I like it, but no idea how long it'll last.

Seems like quality is all over the board, even same exact cartos ordered at same time some last days or weeks other hardly any time. What are you guys using? What LR carto lasts long (3+ days)? Where can I get them cheap, preferably either without the sticky wrap or preslotted?

Also note that I normally vape lighter colored juices, fruits or light/thinner cola flavors to avoid clogging issues, and still having mixed results. For dark flavors I drip an atty. So far I'm liking the Smok Tech 1.7 ohm. Not clogged or tight at all, no flooding even though I made the slots maybe a little too large, nice warm vapor every hit and no dry/burnt taste. We'll see if it actually holds up for at least a few more days before needing to be replaced.

If Boge 2.0 ohm is holding up I might have to get a few to try. Do they come without the plastic wrap to remove and clean? Best price where?

I've had the same experience. The longevity of the cartos varies considerably, even when I use the same juice. I've had one carto last three weeks, and yet another only lasted a couple of days. I buy pre-punched ones from various vendors. It really does seem to be hit and miss in terms of the efficacy of the cartos.

Right now, I'm having issues with the cartos being on the dry side- that's with both my Chibi and the J-tanks. I've been using double-punched cartos, but it seems the juice is not feeding properly. I "prime" the cartos with a few drops of juice after a tank refill, but wicking dries out (at least upon inspection they look and feel very dry). Don't quite know what is going on there.

It gets a bit frustrating because when I first started using tanks, I had flooding issues. Now, it seems it's not wicking properly. Oh well... like you said- hit or miss, LOL.

OK so that Smok Tech carto lasted 6 days, just changed it last night. It was still providing vapor but the draw was a bit tight and flavor was falling off, not wicking quite as well. Center hole didn't look clogged and using a paper clip only slightly improved draw. I probably could have forced myself through another day or two of use if I was too cheap to change it out.

My biggest problem was when filling my Liquinator tank I get juice running out the top end of the carto. I fill as recommended, which is push the battery end down into the tank, and drip fluid in to fill while leaving an air gap. I typically leave just enough air to the threads down get wet and juice doesn't run down the inner tube of the carto. So I tried filling similar but with a syringe and going more slowly, with the same result of juice pouring out the top of the carto.

I thought maybe it was due to the fairly large slots I cut in the carto, so now on my second Smok Tech carto I cut the slots a little smaller. Same result when filling. I'll try smaller slots on the next, but I'm thinking it's an issue with this model carto. Does anyone else have problem like this when filling? How can I avoid this?
