hello, ive really been interested in buying some electronic cigarrettes to quit smoking, but i want the two piece style, im talking about the kind with just the battery and then a cartomizer, the ones with the atomizer and flavor in the cartridge. i would appreciate any insight into this. As of now i am looking on a site called e-cigs.com and am very convinced to order from there. i just want to get some more knowledge on cartomizers before i buy.

thanks

I think to get a better idea of how to get started and what to expect from vaping you should start with these two links:

Welcome to ECF and happy vaping!

Absolutely wonderful and very informative videos!
Once you get your post count up you can also go to the "Ecigarette Reviews" section of this forum. There are many great technical discussions as well as a complete list of ECF Registered Suppliers for everything you need to get you started.
Welcome to the ECF and all the best to you. Ask lots of questions. :D

There are lots of good vendors. I'm not sure e-cigs.com sells anything -- at least I don't see it on their site.

For the best cartos, the V4L coolcarts, litecigusa.net premium cartos (probably the best price), NHaler mega cartos, and Vapornine cartos are all about the same and probably the best. Cigeasy cartos are also ver good, but a little less ohms. They are a good balance, I think, for a standard 3.7V 808 battery. LeCig D1 cartos also are very good and even a little less ohms (without going LR), but they don't always work on manual batteries without an adapter (they don't have a slit in the center connector). Stay away from the standard 808 cartos.

Good luck.

Your best bet would probably be to get a couple kr808d1 batteries (i love the manuals, w/ the button). You can pick these up lots of places, v4L, bloog planet, litecigusa, heavengifts, v2cigs (but I wouldn't order a kit from them, their shipping takes forever...but when ordering only batts, they're fairly quick about shipping), and lots of other vendors. Now when it comes to cartomizers, I've tried several incl. v4l, v2cigs, litecigusa, and THE BEST are the bloog maxxfusion. I just got my bloog cartos today, both prefilled and blanks, and they are so freakin awesome!!! They blow all the rest out of the water. If I was you, I would just start w/ the best and buy the bloog maxxfusion cartos to go with your kr808d1 batts. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed. V4L has great service and ok carts, but they burn SO fast and leave a nasty taste, which ruined the vaping experience. Hope that helps :).
