There are a handful of good options for cig-alikes, most of which have already been mentioned.

NJoy King disposable - Since you say you want something less obvious, this is probably the best option. They are pricey at $7.99 each, but they look and even feel much like a cigarette. On a crowded patio full of smokers, most people wouldn't even be able to tell you were vaping. As an added bonus, they can be grabbed at 7-11 and many other convenience stores and gas stations.

eRoll - I've never used one myself, but I've read a lot on them. If you like the eGo-C atomizer then you'll probably like the eRoll. If you don't then look elsewhere. The issues with it have already been mentioned, but the one that keeps me from buying it is the fact that the PCC only holds one assembled unit with a 0.4 ml tank. This means you'd have to find some way of carrying additional full tanks, or a needle-tipped bottle as well as some way of carrying an additional battery and cone for when the first one runs low. None of these are major hurdles. But are they worth it for $70.00?

S. I. Volt - Or Bloog or Halo G6, because they're essentially the same thing. Enough comparisons have been drawn between the 3 companies that it's extremely likely the units are made in the same factory. Even if they aren't there isn't much to differentiate them except for price and atomizer options. They work very well. The only complaint I have with 808's is that standard resistance atomizers are 2.8 ohms; though Halo, V4L and a few other vendors do offer LR cartomizers. They're regulated at 3.7 volts and there are enough delivery system options for them to meet a variety of wants and needs.

Modern Vapor Sidesho - This hasn't been mentioned yet, but it is my cig-alike of choice when I do want one. It's thin like the Blu but is 180 mAh and it works very, very well. It's a standard 510 connection, so a Nano or T4 wouldn't look horribly out of place on it. And it's the only battery in that size that is available as a manual, so it makes a perfect mini dripper. There's other reasons I prefer the Sidesho, but those only matter if you're a fan of automatics.

I'm sure there are other vendors with good cig-alike options. Vapor for Life (V4L) for instance has a proven track record for quality and customer service, but I find their prices a little steep. But the ones mentioned above are the ones I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality cig-alike.

Good luck.

There's a cigalike mod now. Somebody posted it in another thread the other day, but I can't find it. Comes with Li-ion batts and charger. I remember it was $48 but don't remember the name or site. Anybody else know what I'm talking about?

Eroll ? From Joyetech and others

I've had the volt.

I liked it... but I had one issue; the PCC was total crap. Scratches easily, weird readings, opens and closes sketchy and screwing in the battery is a pain.

I bought a similar PCC from liberty-flights... same thing.

A warning for the Volt: Don't buy the white batteries if you plan on keeping this in your pocket, especially if you wear jeans. I've had two white batteries turn blue on me. The last one I had faded to a gray when I kept it in my pocket when I was wearing black dress pants.

Another problem: They do not have a 510 connection. This can be such a burden, especially if all your previous gear is 510. You need to buy separate cartos all the time... grrr. You can buy an adapter, but it is easy to lose, and it extends your battery a bit.

I love small e-cigs, but they don't last as long as I need them.

Joye 510 is still my favorite battery, hands down, even though I mainly use a ego-mini. Nothing beats a small compact e-cig.

I just picked up the e-roll and I can't wait to see what this has to offer. I don't enjoy bringing one of my bigger mods out for the night. It is just too weird lately.

After the e-roll, I'm probably going to pick up a jazz carto pipe, so I can feel classy when I vape during a night out.

The volt not being 510 is kinda lame as yes, all my stuff is 510. Have MVP, provari, and smok natural with a bunch of delivery devices. If a short 510 battery is available the same diameter as a 510 cartoon maybe that would work fine. Could order some of those black ones too as I have all silver for cartotanks...

What I saw was the same thing by a different brand I guess, but the ecab looks perfect. Anybody used 'em? what do you think?
Phil Busardo has a review of it. It doesn't seem horrible, but like the eRoll you're pretty much stuck with the eGo-C atomizer and a tank. Though there is an eCab-510 adapter out there. Also the batteries are more or less proprietary, and you'll only ever get 800 mAh out of them.

Prior to getting my eGo kit I tried to quit with one of those nJoy King throwaway cig-a-likes that you can at some gas stations and Walgreens . After having a few drags, I knew that wouldn't help me quit so that's when I went out to buy my eGo starter kit.

Anyway, fast forward to last week my battery went dead while I was out running errands....I happen to have the throwaway nJoy eCigs in my car and I was surprised how well it tasted and worked. I guess my flavor has changed since smoking. I still couldn't use an nJoy to vape, but I am certainly happy to have the option available during times my PV isn't available.

I love my ecab. I have 510 stick batts, ego, ego twist, evic and mech mods. The Ecab is my favorite for on the go vaping. I use the 510 connector with 1.8 Kanger horizontal carts. If you haven't tried Kanger horizontals please do so. I know flavor is subjective but i prefer them over the ever popular Boges or smoktechs. The filler is super absorbent, they are almost silent when in use (no crackling/popping noise), and I never get dry hits since the coil lies across at the very bottom. The coil being at the very bottom also allows me to go longer between topping off/refills.

As for batteries, i use efest imr or aw imr 10440s. They are night and day compared to the Joytech batts. I carry two in the coin pocket of my pants (plus the one in the device) and i am good all day. I really only need two to get through the day but always like to have an extra backup.

Something not very many people notice is that the button on the ecab is flush with the tube. I've had 510 manual stick batts with the raised black button fire accidentally in my pocket but never with the ecab.

I didn't buy the kit because i knew the ego-c atty and joytech batts would not be up to par. I purchased the batt tube with 510 connector from Sun-vapors for only $11.99.

I'm going to go with the white cloud disposables comments. Just tried them and I really was happy. I will never bother to keep a cigalike full and charged. But a white cloud, tear open the packet and vape. I don't need another device needing maintenance, I need something easy and trouble free.

Besides, if I am out drinking and lose a $3 disposable it's easier than losing a $50 substitute.

Gotta say I'm very disappointed in the White Cloud "full size" Flings. Ordered 10 of them with 10 more minis, the $29.95 deal is still on for either one. I love the minis, and think they're every bit as good as the NJOYs without the obscene cost, and the minis have been lasting me more than a day while alternating with an eGo mini pen top ...

Carrying three different flavors in the free case is really convenient, but probably still too costly for long-term ...

But the Flings are very "windy", just can't get a good hit from one. I opened a couple of them just to see if I got a dud, both the same ...

Will order the minis again unless the price goes up. The full-size Flings will probably be given away, although I can see that they might not be a great first vaping experience ...

I guess I shouldn't have expected them to be as good as the minis ...
