I am going on 2 years tobacco-free and being a hardcore vaping fan. In that time I have gone through many, many clones and quite a few authentics. Nowadays I have 6 mech mods, 3 authentic and 3 clone. Love them all equally. The rest I have either sold, given away, or in a very few instances - thrown away. I suspect this is a fairly common pattern among those of us who a) crossed over from tobacco to vaping, and b) have made it a hobby/vice/new fun addiction or you probably wouldn't be a member of this forum anyway. That being said, my question is this - what is the absolute best mech mod clone you have purchased from fast tech? This is in terms of durability, reliability and overall performance. You can only pick one. I chose Fast Tech because that seems a common place for all of us who purchase clones. This is not an invite for the moral arguments on clones.

Mine is the brass Nemesis clone.

I am very curious about other people's choices because there are so many more choices nowadays on Fast Tech, so please weigh in. Thank you in advance for responses.

I only own one, so take that for what it's worth. I am very picky, tho. Mandatory for a mechanical was side button, for me. Now, that doesn't narrow the options much, right? I settled on the 69 clone. It took some minor rocket surgery to get the adjustable pos+ connector pin to make contact with the KFL+, but after all was said and done, I am impressed. I still use my REO more tho.

Can we post our worst? lol, I have bought a couple decent ones, although none really stand out but I remember the worst was also a nemesis, the black one which is only a 29.3 mm tube (no rda flushes up with that that I own...ugh), you can only top load the battery because there is a lip at the bottom so the battery can not come out of the bottom and the silver plated contacts were trash...IMO, horrible voltage drop, the black coating was on the threads so sub ohming on it made the point of contact hot between tube and both ends, just not an enjoyable mod at all. Sold to some kid at my shop for luckily twice what I paid, the kid really wanted it and I really hated it lol. Saw the kid a week later, still in love with the thing, to each their own...

I have the Paragon $22.11 mod from FT. I couldn't be happier with it.

I went to a B&M yesterday and compared it to the authentic. Other than deeper engraving on the button I honest thought the clone was better. The carbon fiber looked better, the threads were equally smooth and the brushed texture on the copper was nicer.

The mod hits great and the button is much smoother and better than my Nemisis clone. For 22 bux I can't believe how nice this mod is.

In my personal opinion, if I have to go with a completely out of the box setup the $24.83 Kepler 18650 Stingray X clone is hard to beat(FT SKU: 1891703). For someone like me who only planned to ever use the Stingray X in 18650 anyway I love the idea of the single piece main tube, less contact points for less maintenance and less voltage drop. This is one of those rare mods that needed no tinkering with or extra finishing whatsoever and everything came in basically perfect condition.
